The main storyline of Persona 5 Royal is pretty much fixed since it follows a calendar structure. According to How Long To Beat, just completing this without deviating will take around 102 hours or so. If you include the basic side quests in Momentos, this will increase to around 123 hours.

You can shave a little off this time if you make liberal use of the skip button. This allows you to fast-forward through cut scenes and dialogue and just make the choices. However, while it's useful for repetitive tasks such as exercise or studying, mostly you'll want to watch the cut scenes to keep up with the story. Minor Momentos targets are also skippable, although you will have to explore each area and unlock it all to complete the game.

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent Persona 5 Royal?

There is a large amount of side content in Persona 5 that you'll want to complete in order to 100 percent the game, with this task taking an estimated 143 hours.

Alongside collecting the Will Seeds in Palaces, and doing the side quests in Momentos, there are over 250 different Personas to recruit. While you can only hold up to eight Personas at once, they can be executed and merged in the Velvet Room to create new and more powerful variants. Once again this can be a huge time sink if you want to explore all the different combinations.

You'll also find a number of personal and social goals. Joker has five skills you can get to level five, and there are over a dozen confidants to max out, either as friends or romances. Minor things you will want to do to tick off every activity include collecting all the books, defeating the treasure demons, and decorating your room.
