The launch of PGA Tour 2K23 is fast-approaching. As 2K further prepares for its arrival, today the studio has revealed a number of the playable pros that will be on the roster from day one. Former cover star Justin Thomas makes the cut, as do a number of top female players who will be gracing the series for the very first time.

As well as courses from the LPGA, Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson, and Lydia Ko will be playable in PGA Tour 2K23. They will be joined by the aforementioned Thomas, as well as other notable male pros such as Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, and Jon Rahm. Each pro will come with the same attire they can be found in on the real fairways, plus they have been designed so their in-game skills and strengths match the ones they demonstrate in real-life.

Everyone mentioned above and announced for the PGA Tour 2K23 roster today will be joining Tiger Woods on the virtual courses. 2K revealed Woods would be the cover star last month, adding that his iconic red shirt/black pants combo will be available for all players who opt for the Tiger Woods edition of the game. That and the Deluxe Edition of the upcoming golf game launches three days earlier than the standard edition on October 11.

Revealed at the same time as the news that Woods will be on the cover was Michael Jordan's inclusion in the game. Yes, that Michael Jordan. The NBA star will be available to use for anyone who pre-orders the game or picks up one of those aforementioned special edition versions. 2K also revealed today that more celebrities will be added to the game post-launch.

You will be able to play alongside any of the pros announced for the game so far in various modes, or pit yourself against them in PGA Tour 2K23's MyCareer or the FedEx Cup. The Tiger Woods and Deluxe Editions of 2K's next golf title will launch on October 11, while the standard edition will be available from October 14.
