The Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 are continuing their crossover tour into the mobile gaming market, as Joker and Morgana will be appearing in Identity V.

Identity V is a survival horror game, where four players have to take on the role of one of the Survivors and solve puzzles in an attempt to escape from the area, while a fifth player takes on the role of a slasher villain (known as a Hunter) and tries to take them all down. The artwork in the game is inspired by the movies of Tim Burton, which is why the protagonists have buttons for eyes.

It seems that the Hunters might soon meet their match, as two new characters will be coming to the game in the future. There is an upcoming crossover event between Identity V and Persona 5 that will bring Joker and Morgana from the Phantom Thieves into the game.

A new video has been uploaded to the Identity V YouTube channel that shows both Joker and Morgana with the button eyes of the other protagonists in the game. It's unclear how exactly they will fit into Identity V. Will Joker and Morgana be able to use the power of their Personas in the game? Will the Hunters last long in the face of a Megidolan? The Survivors each possess their own special traits, so it's possible that the Phantom Thieves will rely on their stealth and trickery to survive.

Identity V is the latest game to feature an appearance from the Phantom Thieves. Joker recently appeared as a DLC character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Phantom Thieves will be appearing in Catherine: Full Body, several members of the Phantom Thieves appeared during an event in Puzzle & Dragons, there was a Persona 5-themed special event in Dragon's Dogma Online, and Joker's outfit appeared in Sonic Forces.

Is Atlus really cool with including two of its most beloved characters in a game where they can be killed by slasher movie villains? We'll have to wait and see, as a release date for the collaboration has yet to be revealed.

Identity V is available now for Android and iOS devices.
