Playstation Halloween Sale Features Big Discounts On Spooky Games

The PlayStation Store is having a massive Halloween sale with some big discounts on classics like Outlast and recent games like RE2 Remake.

Just a little over a month since PlayStation discounted over 400 different game titles on its site, the store has announced its newest Halloween Sale. And this time, there are no tricks. Only treats. A lot of treats.

To celebrate the spookiest time of the year, PlayStation has slashed prices for nearly 300 of its scariest titles, with discounts up to 90% on select games. The sale runs now until November 1 at 8 AM PT, giving fans plenty of time to snatch up some terrifying titles.

Gamers can also try their hand at Alien: Isolation, a 2015 survival horror game based on the eponymous science fiction franchise. Taking place 15 years after the events of the 1979 Alien film that followed protagonist Ellen Ripley, players assume control of her daughter, Amanda. Guide her through a life-threatening journey as she investigates the disappearance of her mother. The original game is currently on sale for $11.99, and a collection pack with all DLC's included is selling for $15.99. Both games are running 60% off.

In addition to some older titles, the sale also includes a number of recent releases. Another popular title to check out is the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 2, a 2019 survival horror game. A remake of the 1998 game of the same name, players venture to Raccoon City after a deadly virus begins to turn residents into flesh-eating zombies. Playing as Leon S. Kennedy, a police officer, and Claire Redfield, a college student, players must figure out a way to escape the apocalypse in one of the goriest video games ever made. Both the original version of the game and the deluxe version of the game are on sale for 50% off, with final prices at $29.99 and $34.99, respectively.

The PlayStation Store Halloween sale runs now until November 1 at 8 AM PT. Be sure to take advantage of these deals on the best horror video games before the spooky season ends!
