Ten free games are coming to PlayStation's Play at Home initiative, free to download for everybody, regardless of whether you have PS+ or PS Now. These are Abzû, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, Subnautica, The Witness, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper, and Paper Beast.
You can claim all of the games mentioned completely free of charge, but that's not all. There is also an extended trial of Funimation (or Wakanim in some regions). For context, that's an anime-based streaming service that has shows such as My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan, and Naruto. The offer lasts until April 22.
"Last month, we revealed our new Play at Home program for 2021," Sony Interactive Entertainment president & CEO Jim Ryan opens, "Which aims to provide the community with free games and entertainment offers to make the next few months a little more fun. The program kicked off earlier this month with the 2016 hit Ratchet & Clank for PS4 - and you can still claim a free digital copy of the game through March 31."
Coming later, on April 19, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be free to download for a limited time, giving you the perfect opportunity to dive in before the PS5's sequel in the scenario that you haven't already. The Complete Edition contains the base game as well as its expansion, The Frozen Wilds, which sports new lands to explore, skills, weapons, and even enemies. To boot, Horizon Zero Dawn has been enhanced for the PS4 Pro.
For Chinese players, however, Subnautica, The Witness, Abzû, Rez Infinite, Moss, Thumper, and Paper Beast will not be available. Meanwhile, Enter the Gungeon won't be available in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, or Thailand.
