PlayStation has just unveiled the games that will be available on the new and upcoming PS Plus service that combines Now and Plus. This isn't an exhaustive list, the company has offered "a selection of the content that will be available."

In a recent blog post, the company showed some of the PS4 and PS5 games that will be available on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. The list is split into first-party PlayStation studios and third-party partners.

But, the news everyone is eager for is on the classic games catalogue on offer. We know there will be over 400 PS4 and PS5 games, but we don't know how many retro titles will be coming to the service.

Some PS1 and PSP games we'll be getting are: Tekken 2 - which we'd seen a leak of - Ape Escape, and Super Stardust Portable. There will also be remasters of classic games, such as Jak X: Combat Racing (PS4), Bioshock Remastered, and Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition.

No word yet on which PS2 games have made the cut, but we do know that PS3 games available for streaming will also be accessible via PC. These games include: Demon’s Souls, MotorStorm RC, Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty, Tokyo Jungle, Devil May Cry HD Collection, F.E.A.R., and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare - one of the best zombie games ever made. "These are original, non-remastered versions of PS3 games."

PlayStation has again confirmed that new games will be added to each tier every month. The same monthly games available to PS Plus members will continue, as will "An additional monthly refresh will occur in the middle of each month with new games across the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. The number of games refreshed will vary per month."

Many of the games on offer are already currently available on PS Now. Hopefully more new retro games get added when the service goes live.
