PlayStation gamers will be able to check out their stats and highlights as 2022 winds down. Today you'll be able to check out your gaming numbers with PlayStation Wrap-Up. While it's been overall a quieter year for new releases than some years past, with game delays and a less intense launch schedule, Sony saw some major releases this year while one third-party game surprised many with its stupendous success. From today through to January 13, PS4 and PS5 users can access and share their 2022 Wrap-Up highlights, as shared by the PlayStation Blog. These highlights include the number of trophies you've earned, the number of games played, total hours played, among other stats and facts. Related: Two Years Later And The PS5 Has Just 5 Exclusive GamesAmong the collection of numbers is the "monumental stats" posted by global PlayStation players in 2022, which includes such highlights as how many Thunderjaws were struck down in Horizon Forbidden West, the total number of miles racked up in Gran Turismo 7, and how many times players threw the axe in God of War Ragnarok.

While those Sony first-party exclusives all came out this year, it was in the shape of the Lands Between that seemed to dominate 2022. FromSoftware's open-world take on its Soulsborne genre scored millions of copies sold in an astounding success for the Japanese developer, surprising the veteran studio. It also won Game of the Year at The Game Awards last week (where some of its thunder was stolen by a pranking stage invader).

PlayStation users who click through all of their 2022 Wrap-Up sections will also receive a voucher code to redeem one of six Astro Bot avatars that will reflect their gaming achievements this year, which is pretty cool. The site for the 2022 Wrap-Up is now live and can be accessed here. Just remember you have until January 13, 2023 to look it up and get your voucher code.
