Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are some of the hardest games to come out in recent Pokemon history. Not only will it take a bit more grinding to get through the game, but even finding and catching some types of Pokemon are much harder.
The cute bee Pokemon Combee is no exception to this rule and, for many, will be infuriating to find, especially if you are looking to get Vespiquen. Combee only spawns in certain locations or under certain conditions and isn't a Pokemon that can just be found in tall grass. Where to Get Combee in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Finding Combee is actually pretty simple in the game. To catch a Combee, you will need to have the ability to buy honey and put it on the honey tree scattered around the Sinnoh region. This will be unlocked after you get to Floaroma town and get rid of Team Galactic. Once you slather honey on a tree, it will randomly spawn a Pokemon within six hours. Simply check back on the trees you've put honey on until you find a Combee. Keep in mind that honey trees work off an RNG system, so it may be hard to find one.
Combee can also be found in the Grand Underground but doesn't seem to have a high spawn rate. To increase your chance of finding a Combee, you can place bug-type statues in your secret base to have a higher chance of it spawning.
How to Evolve Combee
Getting Vespiquen is a bit complicated as it is a special evolution Pokemon. A Combee will only evolve if it is female, making males essentially not worth leveling up. Female Combee also tends to have a much lower spawn rate, so catching them is entirely up to luck. The best chance you have of catching one is using statues to search the Grand Underground biomes or placing honey on every honey tree you come across. Once you get a female Combee, you simply need to level it up until it reaches level 21 and it will evolve into Vespiquen.
