In case you missed the news, Game Freak recently gave us an extended trailer showing off some of the new features in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, including a first look at the Paldea region, rideable legendaries, and the game's new battle gimmick - Tera Evolutions. However, none of these features have garnered more excitement from fans than the cute new Pokemon on the block, a lovely little pupper made out of bread called Fidough. This little loaf has been confirmed to be a pure Fairy-type Pokemon with "smooth, moist skin with elastic qualities" that helps out with the baking by breathing yeast. While only briefly shown off during the event, it didn't take long for Twitter to be absolutely flooded with Fidough fan art of varying shapes and sizes, imagining him as different types of bread with different flavours. Thankfully none of it seems to be very saucy this time around.Related: TheGamer's Biologist Explains Why Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Fidough Is BustedBut despite everyone's attention being dominated by Fidough, one unfortunate soul that must be feeling pretty abandoned right now is the previous flavour of the month Lechonk. The poor piglet has gone from being adored and appearing at events like AEW, to being replaced by a cuter, younger Pokemon in the bat of an eye. Hopefully, when picking their teams upon starting Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, people don't forget about little Lechonk - there's room on a team for six Pokemon after all.

Apart from Fidough and the rest of the interesting new mechanics shown off, the latest Pokemon Presents also gave us a closer look at Scarlet & violet's new online co-op feature that will let players explore the region together for the first time. We also learnt that the game will feature three seperate storylines and that players will be able to choose between them in whichever order they like.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is still expected to launch later this year on November 18. If you'd like to learn more about the game, you can check out our handy guide containing everything we know so far.
