Pokemon Go is increasing the spawn rates of every community day-featured Pokemon for one glorious weekend.

Pokemon Go is increasing the spawn rates of every community day-featured Pokemon for one glorious weekend.

During the summer of 2016, Pokemon Go took the world by storm unlike any other mobile game that has come before it. Perhaps unlike any other game period, regardless of platform. It truly felt like almost everyone was playing it. Since that summer, interest in Pokemon Go has dwindled, but not as much as you might think.

Many of those who don't really play video games but wanted to feel that pang of nostalgia and get in on the trend were always going to fall by the wayside pretty quickly. However, there is no denying that Pokemon Go is a great game and had the legs to last more than a few months among the more serious gaming community. Niantic has also continued to keep interest high in the game by tweaking it and introducing newer generations of Pokemon.

Niantic has also run a number of community days throughout Pokemon Go's two and a half year lifespan. During these community days, certain Pokemon spawn a lot more often than they normally do. Usually, Pokemon that are particularly hard to find. To celebrate all of the community days Pokemon Go has run in 2018, Niantic has announced that all of the Pokemon featured on those days will return for a massive community weekend.

The weekend will run from 4 pm EST on November 30, 2018, and end at 2 am on December 3, 2018. If you have forgotten which Pokemon have featured during this year's community days, and will hence spawn far more often over the above weekend, then let us refresh your memory. Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee, Dratini, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mareep, Larvitar, and Beldum. That map is going to be looking pretty crowded.

The weekend will also come along with a version of all the other rewards that we have come to expect during Pokemon Go community days. Evolved versions of the Pokemon you catch will all have the featured moves they had on their respective community days. Plus, during different three hour periods, players will earn double catch XP, catch stardust, and incubator effectiveness. That bonus period varies depending on your timezone. You can check when it falls for you by heading to Pokemon Go's website.
