Pokemon Go is giving players no breaks this season, constantly hosting in-game events throughout the last few months. Immediately following their Halloween Event, Pokemon Go will be celebrating Dia de Muertos with Trainers around the world, offering several in-game bonuses to those who participate.
Pokemon Go: How To Get Yellow Flower, Red Flower, And Blue Flower Flabebe
Flabebe is a Pokemon that comes in five distinct flowers, and you'll have to put some effort in to get them all.Taking place from Wednesday, November 1, at 10am to Thursday, November 2, at 8pm, this event is brief, yet has a lot to offer. We've put together everything you need to know to take advantage of this event while it is active, allowing you to enjoy all of its benefits while you still can.
Updated by Christian Pellegrino on October 29, 2023: The Dia De Muertos Event is back this year, with a slew of new features and bonuses. We've updated this guide to reflect 2023's event, so read on to take advantage of everything offered for this two-day event.
Pokemon Debuts
With this event will come the introduction of new Pokemon variants, sporting a unique Dia de Muertos themed costume, similar to last year's event.
You can expect to encounter the Cubone evolution family wearing cempasuchil crowns, including both Cubone and Marowak in this new outfit. During this event, you can encounter this costumed Cubone varient in the wild, in Raids, and as a Field Research Task encounter.
These variants of Cubone can both be evolved, keeping their cempasuchil crown outfits when this done.
Cubone will require 50 Cubone Candy to be evolved into its only evolution, Marowak.
Event Bonuses
There will be a handful of bonuses available to all players who log in and participate in this special event. Make sure to take advantage of the following bonuses during this short event window.
- Lure Modules will last for 90 minutes during this event.
- Incense will last for 90 minutes during this event (excluding your Daily Adventure Incense).
- 2x Candy for catching Pokemon.
Additionally, those playing Pokemon Go in either Latin America or the Caribbean will benefit from an additional bonus during this event. These Trainers will receive increased Candy for Transferring Pokemon throughout this event.
Raids
The Pokemon found in Raids will be different during this event window, following the Dia de Muertas theme. Group up with other Trainers to take on and defeat the following Raid Bosses while they are available.

There will be specific Pokemon that will see an increase in their spawn rate as a wild encounter during this event. Make sure to log in and adventure while using the app to encounter and catch the following featured Pokemon.
Those residing in Latin America and the Caribbean can expect to see this spawn rate increased even further.

Featured event Pokemon will be attracted to both Incense and Lure Modules when used during this event. Stock up on these items and use them during the event window to encounter and catch the following Pokemon.

Field Research Task Encounters
When completing Field Research Tasks during this event, you can expect to encounter featured event Pokemon as a reward. Make sure to spin Photo Discs at PokeStops to obtain these Field Research Tasks, giving you the opportunity to encounter and catch the following Pokemon.

Throughout this year's Dia De Muertos Event, there will be different event-themed Pokemon Showcases available at specific PokeStops. Typically, the PokeStops that have event Pokemon Showcases will be those that have hosted them in the past.
For this event, the event Pokemon Showcases will allow you to enter different Duskull that are in your Pokemon collection. You will get the most points for those that are exceptionally large, so make sure you hold onto any XXL Duskull that you catch during this event.
You will most likely be able to enter both standard Duskull and Duskull in cempasuchil crowns into these event Pokemon Showcases.
Event Avatar Items And Stickers
This event will bring Dia de Muertas themed Avatar Items to the game! These items can be purchased at the in-game shop during and after this special event.
Additionally, there will be Dia De Muertas-themed Stickers available during this year's event. These unique Stickers can be obtained from visiting and spinning different PokeStops, through Gifts, and through purchase at the in-game shop.
