The Left-Hip Stance is a simple-looking pose that isn't too in your face. The pose has your trainer place their left hand on their left hip and their right hand down by their side with their legs spread out a bit to create a strong pose.

In the Poke Ball Grip pose, the trainer clutches a Poke Ball close to their body with their right hand whilst forming a fist with their left. The pose makes the trainer look like they are challenging someone to a battle and gives off feelings of aggression.

Power Pose

The Power pose has your trainer standing in a superhero-like pose with a hand on each hip and legs parted, creating a sense of importance and heroicness. The pose comes across as a defensive stance as opposed to an aggressive one, like the Poke Ball Grip.

Poke Ball Flex

The Poke Ball Flex is similar to the Poke Ball Grip pose but has the trainer holding the Poke Ball away from their body. A fist is still being formed with the left hand, pointing down rather than up.

The pose looks identical to the way trainers look during battles when they are waiting to call in a Pokemon.

Spooky Pose

Steven Pose

The pose is inspired by the Pokemon League Champion from the Hoenn region named Steven. The pose has your trainer standing with an arm outstretched and pointing in an identical fashion to Phoenix Wright. The pose has a sense of confidence attached to it, which could easily be mistaken for arrogance.

Reached Rank 10 in Season 2 of the Battle League

The Hype pose has the arms of your trainer bent nearly at right angles, with the palms of the hands facing forward. The last two fingers of each hand are curled up, and at a distance, the pose looks like someone shrugging their shoulders out of confusion.

Blue Pose

The Blue pose, which is based on the character Blue from the main series games and the manga, has the left hand placed above the trainer's head, and the end two fingers are placed down. The pose looks friendly and makes your trainer look like they are waving to someone. It's an ideal pose for those wanting to make new friends.

This pose is very similar to the Poke Ball Flex pose, as it has your trainer clearly showing the Poke Ball in your hand. Your trainer crosses their right hand over their chest with the Poke Ball gripped from the top. This pose exudes confidence and is how you would expect someone to stand after winning a battle.

N Pose

Reached Rank 10 in Season 6 of the Battle League

The N pose has trainers standing in a dance-like stance with both arms outstretched and one of their feet being slightly raised at the back. It's a nice and non-threatening pose that makes the trainer look like a fun person. It's based on the character N from the Gen V games, anime, and more.

Elesa Pose

The Elesa pose is based on the Gym Leader Elesa of Nimbasa City. It is identical to the Left-Hip pose but instead has your trainer place their right hand on their right hip. There's not much going for this pose, especially since it's so similar to an already existing one.

It does have a bit more sass, too, which is befitting of Elesa, who is a model and confident person all around.

Korrina Pose

The pose is inspired by Korrina, the Fighting-type Pokemon Gym Leader from Shalour City who first appeared in Pokemon X & Y. The Korrina pose is another that gives your trainer a confident look, with a fist placed on a hip and another raised.

Reached Rank 20 during an Interlude Season of the Battle League

It's possible to earn this pose anytime there's no official Battle League Season going on. These periods are called 'Interlude Seasons' and, to earn the pose, you'll need to reach the highest rank: 20.

The Gladion Pose was inspired by, and named after, the rival from Pokemon Sun and Moon. A number of other cosmetic items inspired by his character are available the further you get into the Interlude Season.

Bought a ticket to the event A Colossal Discovery

The GO Time pose was available to those who bought a ticket during the event A Colossal Discovery. You had to complete four parts of special research to get the pose.

The pose is another simple one, where the trainer has both arms down by their side. It's a fairly boring pose with not much going on and nothing to really make it stand out.

It had to be fixed by Niantic, as before, it made your trainer stand in a weird squiggly way that looked like their spine had some kind of issue.

Mime Pose

Bought a ticket to the Galarian Mr. Mime event

The Mime pose was granted to you as soon as you bought a ticket for the Galarian Mr. Mime event, which took place from 10 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020, to Monday, December 21, 2020, at 8:00 p.m., all your local time.

The Mime pose is great if you're a fan of Mr. Mime as it has your trainer replicate their stance, acting as if they are trapped in an invisible box.

Iconic Pose & Rockin' Pose

Completed special research during the Pokemon GO Fest 2021

Both of these poses were awarded to players who completed 11 parts of special research during the Pokemon GO Fest in 2021. Unfortunately, there's no reason to suspect they'll come back around thus far.

One is very free and floaty, while the other is hardcore, as if the trainer were playing a guitar.

Completed Collection Challenge during Hoopa's Arrival Event

During September 2021, the Hoopa's Arrival Event occurred and players were tasked with collecting a number of particular Pokemon, including Hoopa, Spoink, Duskull, and more. This pose has the trainer holding their ball in the air next to their head.

Level-Up Poses

The Level 43 pose was added as part of the GO Beyond update. Another simple pose, the Level 43 pose has the trainer stand with their right arm at a right angle and their hand making a fist.

The Prized Poke Ball pose is unlocked by reaching level 45 and completing the three parts of the Level 45 Challenge.

The pose has the player holding the Poke Ball with the right hand and supporting it with the left to bring attention to it as if they are showing off the Poke Ball and possibly the Pokemon inside.

Poke Ball Twist

The Poke Ball Twist pose is unlocked by reaching level 50 and completing the three-part Level 50 Challenge.

The Poke Ball Twist is potentially the best-looking pose in the game, and since it is arguably the hardest to get, you would hope it looks nice. It has your trainer hold a Poke Ball in an arm that's twisted to hold it slightly behind their back.
