This event will take place from Wednesday, October 5 at 10 am to Tuesday, October 11, at 8 pm local time. There are many aspects of this event, making changes to virtually all portions of Pokemon Go, so make sure you know all there is to know about the Evolving Stars Event if you wish to make the most of it.

Pokemon Debut: Cosmoem

This event will mark the introduction of Cosmog's evolution, Cosmoem, for the first time in Pokemon Go's history. You will need to use 25 Cosmog Candy to acquire this new evolution, presumably obtained through the completion of tasks that are part of the Season-long Research "A Cosmic Companion."

At this point in time, Trainers will most likely only have one Cosmog in their collection of Pokemon. Players will have the opportunity to encounter this Pokemon in the future, so don't worry about evolving your only Cosmog.
