If you bought a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest 2020 and are reading this on Sunday, July 26, then congratulations! You survived GO Fest Day 1's constantly rotating spawns. Hopefully you have a lot of shinies to show for it, and maybe even some new entries in your Pokédex. But that was yesterday, and today is all about Team GO Rocket and the Mythical Victini.
You've probably read by now that Team GO Rocket has taken over Pokémon GO Fest Day 2. As is usual for a Rocket event, this means you'll need send Grunts, Leaders, and boss man Giovanni blasting off. The special GO Fest aspect of today's Rocket event is that you get Victini at the end of it all. So who exactly do you have to battle, how many times, and what other rewards are there? TheGamer is here to tell you exactly that.
The Victini Questline
GO Fest Ticket buyers will get a Special Research questline that rewards a Victini encounter. Thanks to The Silph Road, we know all the steps to the quest and their rewards.

Other Rocket Battles
Once you wrap up the quest and claim victory over Victini, you can continue to battle Team Rocket leaders and Giovanni. However, you won't get repeat chances to capture Shadow Legendary birds or Shadow Mewtwo. Instead you'll get Arlo's Mawile, Sierra's Beldum, and Cliff's Pinsir. Giovanni will reward you with Shadow Persian for the first time.
