Pokemon has a lot to celebrate this year, with 2021 marking the franchise's 25th anniversary and Pokemon GO's fifth anniversary. In honor of these momentous milestones, the fifth annual GO Fest, taking place on July 17th and 18th, will host an eight-hour Raid extravaganza on Sunday, day two of GO Fest 2021.

There will be many special raid-based perks and activities to cover here, meaning lots to do between the allotted GO Fest hours of 10 am and 6 pm. So without further adieu, here are all the details to help you make the most of your time!

Open Event Perks For Day Two

Many of the juicy rewards Sunday's raid day offers are locked behind the ticketed part of the event. However, there are still a couple of additional perks you can take advantage of, regardless of ticket status, simply by logging on Sunday during the event hours.

Raid Perks

With every Legendary raid boss to ever grace a gym appearing in Sunday's raid royale, you're definitely going to encounter one of your favorites. The raids will be broken up by element, similar to the habitat hours from day one of Go Fest 2021. Below is a chart depicting which raids will be occurring during which time slots.

New Musically Inclined Pokemon

Keeping with GO Fest 2021's overlying concert theme, musically inclined Pokemon will be spawning in the overworld during the event as well. The a-list sighting of the day will be a festively costumed Pikachu, ready to rock the mic, while other Pokemon such as Audino, Chimecho, and Kricketot will be making wild appearances as well.

Event-Long Open Features

Now that the raid day activities and perks are out of the way let's look at what there is to enjoy throughout all of GO Fest 2021.

Longer Lure Duration

Lure Modules of any type will experience an x3 duration when activated during event hours on either day.

Faster Hatching Eggs

Eggs will hatch in half the distance required if placed in an Incubator during event hours on either day. The 7km Eggs will include Audino, Chingling, and Igglybuff, among others.

Opportunities To Share Your Progress

Share your trainer photos using #PokemonGOFest2021, and the Today View may feature your submission during the festival.

Field Research Opportunities

All trainers may take part in an exclusive Field Research Task tied to GO Fest 2021.

Exclusive Visual Effects And Music

Special overworld visual effects will occur during the event in response to certain actions or milestones. Pokemon music producer Junichi Masuda also composed new music, especially for GO Fest 2021, to be featured as the overworld soundtrack throughout the event.

Ticketed Event Perks For Day Two

With the mass number of raids to be battled within a mere eight hours, serious trainers will find it well worth investing in a $5 Go Fest 2021 ticket for the raid perks alone.

Extra Raid Experience

Ticket holders will enjoy an additional 10,000 XP for each raid they successfully win. That's on top of the raid's usual rewards.

Ten Raid Passes

While you're in there, remember to spin each Gym. Ticket holders will be able to collect a total of 10 Raid Passes from spinning Gym photos.

Timed Research Tasks

Exclusive Timed Research Tasks will reward a total of eight Remote Raid Passes for taking on raids out of your range. These will be invaluable throughout the day as you're chasing down different raid bosses all over your city.

Festival Reward Bundle Including Remote Raid Passes

Grab a complimentary GO Fest 2021 reward bundle from the in-game Pokeshop. This bundle will only be available during the event on Sunday, July 18th, from 10 am to 6 pm, and it includes an additional three Remote Raid Passes.

Event Long Ticketed Features

Ticket holders will enjoy a few additional benefits all event long.

Event-Themed Stickers

Ticket holders will get exclusive event-themed stickers from opening Gifts and spinning Pokestops.

Extra Surprises

Taking snapshots will garner great surprises all throughout the festival.
