The latest teaser for Team Rocket's presence in Pokémon GO dropped a couple of big hints that Giovanni's arrival in-game is imminent.

Niantic is currently doing more and more to ensure we all stay hooked on Pokémon GO. Whether it be introducing new Pokémon to the game or adding features we have all been clamoring for, the success of the game likely won't be slowing down any time soon. In fact, just this week, Pokémon GO was downloaded for the billionth time, which isn't bad for three years work.

The latest addition to Pokémon GO has come in the form of Team Rocket and its shadow Pokémon. Trainers have had the chance to do battle with Team Rocket grunts and once defeated, they can try to catch the shadow Pokémon the evil henchperson leaves behind. Trainers are then tasked with purifying that Pokémon if they want to.

It seems as if Team Rocket's stranglehold on Pokémon GO is only going to get tighter. At least that's what the teaser below would suggest. The evil corporation's aim is to take over every Pokéstop in the game. Plus, as if that wasn't bad enough, it also seems as if Team Rocket's fearless leader Giovanni will be entering the fray in the not so distant future too.

If you're an eagle-eyed fan or you hit pause at just the right time, you'll see that Giovanni's silhouette makes a very brief appearance during the teaser. For those unfamiliar with Giovanni, he has been bothering trainers for more than 20 years. He first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue and has been in other games since. He has also been an antagonist in the Pokémon TV series.

If you're still not convinced, the quote at the end of the teaser is very similar to one Giovanni says in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Plus, Armored Mewtwo has already made an appearance in Pokémon GO, a creature that has constantly been linked to Giovanni's evil schemes. We obviously don't know when and where Giovanni will appear in Pokémon GO, but it seems pretty nailed on that he will soon.
