With that, the Mega Buddy Event will close out the September events. Who knows what future events are in the works, but October should have at least some new challenges or tasks to look forward to in addition to Mega Gengar. We already know that a major update will be coming in October that will make Pokemon GO no longer work with older versions of IOS and Android, which perhaps implies something big incoming that requires higher-end technology. Whatever the case, keep training up your Pokemon to be prepared.
