It's impossible to not love Snorlax. He's a big, round, friendly giant who loves to sleep and eat (I relate to him on a personal, intrinsic level). The cuddliest Pokemon of all time, with this plush you can hug your very own Snorlax before he goes off for a nap.
At 12 inches, this big boy is big enough to be squished and hugged, but not enough to completely block off the room as Snorlax are wont to do. Just make sure to keep enough poffins on hand to feed him when he wakes up!
FAQ
When Did Pokemon Come Out?
Pokemon first debuted in Japan in 1996, followed by an international launch in 1998. The first games in the US were Pokemon Red and Blue for the Game Boy, with Pokemon Yellow launching a bit later to finish off the trilogy.
The series recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with the launch of Pokemon Celebrations, a special trading card game expansion, in October 2021. We're not too far off from the hihgly anticipated 30th anniversary now, and who knows what will come with that.
How Many Pokemon Are There?
As of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's expansions, there are a whopping 1,025 different Pokemon.
However, there are arguably even more than that, if you could all the different forms Pokemon can come in. Mega Evolutions and Regional variants alone could add dozens to the list, if you wanted to be technical about it.
The 1000th Pokemon came in Scarlet & Violet, and is none other than Gholdengo.
What Was The Pokemon Van Gogh Promo?
Earlier this year, Pokemon teamed up with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam to celebrate the artist's life with an exclusive exhibition showcasing Pokemon depicted in his iconic style.
At the event, and through the online Pokemon Center store, you could get a rare Pikachu With Grey Felt Hat promo. Unfortunately, scalpers and collectors caused such a furore over the promo that the Van Gogh Museum ended the promotion early for visitors' safety.
