Ash Ketchum may have won the Alola League, but it seems that his adventures aren't over yet, as possible leaked artwork and posters show Ash Ketchum and a new partner going on a journey to every region in the Pokémon world.

There has been a lot of speculation concerning the future of the Pokémon anime, as the next season will be using the original Pocket Monsters name from the first season, suggesting a reboot. The fact that Ash finally completed his dream of winning a Pokémon League seemed to suggest that the producers were concluding his story and paving the way for a new character.

It seems that Ash Ketchum's Pokémon journey might not be over yet, as new leaked artwork for the upcoming Pokémon anime shows Ash alongside a new trainer with images from every region in the series behind them. The images were uploaded by Twitter-user pKjd and the design appears to be legitimate, but its validity has yet to be confirmed. The new trainer is unnamed and the design makes it hard to determine whether they are a boy or a girl. The clothes suggest the former, while the prominent eyelashes and hair clips suggest the latter.

It has previously been established that the next season of the Pokémon anime would involve every region from the history of the series, so it makes sense for all of them to appear in the poster. It remains to be seen how this will fit into the overall story of the show. Is Ash Ketchum going on a revenge tour? Is he finally going to track down that cheating scumbag Tobias and get his win back? There a lot of possibilities and it feels as if the show is going to be doing something different with the formula that has been established over the past twenty years.

It won't be long until the legitimacy of this artwork is verified, as more information about the next season of the Pokémon anime will be revealed on September 29, 2019.
