Nintendo and the Pokémon Company are launching a promotional tour across the US to hype the upcoming release of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.

We’ve got just 6 weeks until the release of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Eevee!, and Nintendo is already starting the marketing train with a new promotional tour that will see a series of pop-up events happen all across America.

They’re calling it the Pokémon: Let’s Go, Road Trip! At the helm is Jordin Sparks, a multi-platinum recording artist who you might remember as the winner of the sixth season of American Idol. She’s since gone on to sell over 2 million albums and appear in several movies, such as Show Dogs where she played the voice of Daisy the Australian shepherd.

She’s also a huge Pokémon fan, so there’s your tie-in.

Back to the Road Trip. For the next 6 weeks, Jordin and the rest of the Pokémon crew will drive from location to location and hold little pop-up events where Pokémon fans can get their hands on some cool swag, get their photos taken with Jordin or a dude in a giant Pikachu and Eevee costume, and even get to play some Nintendo Switch games, including the upcoming Let’s Go! games.

Switches at the events will also be equipped with the Poké Ball Plus accessory, which “looks and feels just like a real Poké Ball.“ Since Poké Balls aren’t real we’re not sure how that’s possible, but we’re sure it’ll be neat to catch a Pokémon with a real Poké Ball.

The schedule of stops starts in Los Angeles on October 1nd, then moves to San Francisco October 6th, Seattle October 13th, Dallas October 20th, Topeka Kansas October 27th, Chicago Nov 3rd, Boston November 10th, before finally stopping at New York City November 15th for the Let’s Go launch event.

And if you’re a Pokémon GO player, each event will see an increased chance to find Eevees and Pikachus.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! hit stores November 16th.
