The newest Mythical Pokémon has been revealed -- or at least its silhouette has.

The National Pokémon Day is less than two weeks away, and fans are getting ready to celebrate the holiday with plenty of news and announcements across a variety of Pokémon games, including Pokémon Sword & Shield, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters. As promised by Game Freak and The Pokémon Company, one of the announcements will be a brand new Mythical Pokémon that will appear in Pokémon Sword & Shield as well as the upcoming Pokémon The Movie: Coco.

Before the official reveal of the Mythical Pokémon will happen on February 27, a teaser image in the form of a silhouette was revealed in this month's issue of CoroCoro magazine. The new Mythical Pokémon's physique was revealed, but no other information, Type, attacks, or abilities has been shared. As a result, it can prove to be difficult to say exactly what kind of Pokémon the new Mythical Pokémon is and what it specializes in.

Nonetheless, eager fans are certain to start guessing the new Mythical Pokémon's type. From our initial guess, the Pokémon has physical characteristics those of an ape, so it can be possible to assume that it will be some sort of monkey. Such guess can be further supported when taking into account Pokémon The Movie: Coco. Given what fans have seen thus far regarding the movie, it seems that the events mostly take place in a jungle or forest area. Seeing how monkeys and apes in general are native to such areas, and how the new Mythical Pokémon will appear in the movie, it can be very possible to assume that it is indeed an ape of some sort.

Going off from that, the new Mythical Pokémon's Type will probably be Grass Type. Additionally, it may also possess a Fighting Type as well, given its physique and ape-like nature. As such, the majority of its attacks will be Grass and Fighting Type, with the exception of its special move that no other Pokémon may know (if it will even have one). Still, nothing has been officially confirmed or revealed, meaning that our guess could be as good as anyone else's. Ultimately, all guesses and speculations will be put to rest on February 27.
