Of all the amazing and wonderful merch sold in Artist Alley at TwitchCon this year, these Poké Ball dioramas were by far the coolest.

Enchanted Enigma Gifts sells these hand made terrariums at conventions around the country and on their Etsy page. The creator, Rachel Brockman, started making them as a hobby in her home town of McAllen, Texas. It wasn't long though before Rachel and her husband realized they had an enormous hit on their hands. Now Enchanted Enigma Gifts offers over 80 different Poké Balls in their online shop as well as custom orders.

While at conventions, Rachel takes special orders for custom dioramas. They estimate that there are between 400-500 different Pokémon figures that can be placed in the terrariums (including mega-evolutions and Alolan variants) and a dozen or so different environments such as beaches, forests, and gardens.

Currently, the Enchanted Enigma Gifts shop is promoting Halloween dioramas, as special seasonal version of their Poké Balls that feature ghost-type Pokémon in graveyard settings and costumed Pokémon in adorable candy-filled pumpkin patches. We were particularly smitten by the Poké Balls that featured Eevee dressed up in all of it's Eeveelutions. They're adorable!

Pokémon aren't the only type of dioramas they make either. On display at TwitchCon were also terrariums featuring mini-POP figures of Sonic (surrounded by rings of course), Totoro, Game of Thrones, and Dragon Ball Z characters. One of their most clever creations was a double sided diorama for Stranger Things that features Eleven in the forest on one side and the Demogorgon in the Upside-down on the other.

Price range from $40-$70 depending on the size and number of characters in the diorama. Custom orders are typically on a bit higher than average, and the special Halloween balls are going for $55-$60. There is a bit of an extended wait time for ordering online as the shop will be on tour at conventions for the rest of the year, so your best bet is to find them at an upcoming event and get your order made in person!
