One of the main quests is "Starfall Street", a part of the story that introduces you to Team Star and its colorful members. What initially seems to be a bunch of bullies and bandits, this group actually has a complex history underneath the surface, and here we'll tell you everything about them.

Updated January 29, 2023: We've added a walkthrough video to this article to guide you through the "Starfall Street" questline.

How To Unlock The Starfall Street Main Quest

Pokemon_SV_Starfall_Street_Beginning

Right after enrolling at the Naranja/Uva Academy and starting your Treasure Hunt, you will head outside the Academy, where you will notice a few students bothering another one. After jumping in and defeating them in battle, they will run away and you will be contacted by a mysterious person called Cassiopeia. She will give you the locations of the Five Captains, and your task will be to defeat them all in battle.

To do this, you must find the five bases and run by a trial of endurance where you will have to let out three of your pokemon and defeat a certain number of Team Star pokemon out in the open by using the Let's Go mode. Once that phase of the challenge is done, you will then be able to fight the Boss of that base in combat, and with each victory, learn a bit more about this team.

Segin Squad Leader - Giacomo

Team Star Giacomo ready for battle

The first Team Star headquarters to confront will be the Segin Squad base, located in the West Province (Area One). Once you arrive you will be introduced to a colorful character called Clive, who mysteriously looks like a certain academy staff member. This "student" wants to help you to defeat Team Star, so he can know the true story behind their deserting and how he can help to enroll them back in school.

Defeat the guard and head inside the base to do the first part of the challenge, where you'll have to beat 30 Team Star pokemon before the time runs out. Keep in mind that you can only use three pokemon during this phase, so be careful about who you take into this. Once that's done, Boss Giacomo will surface and challenge you to a battle using his pokemon and his Starmobile, a powered-up version of Revavroom. His team goes as follows:

Cassiopeia will contact you and send Penny to reward you with League Points and materials as well, and you can move onto the next base.

Schedar Squad Leader - Mela

Team Star Mela ready for battle

The second Base will be the Schedar Squad's, located in East Province (Area One). This Fire-type Squad will be commanded by Boss Mela, and once you rendezvous with Clive, you will have to go through the usual Let's Go challenge, followed by your second Boss battle. Mela's team goes as follows:

Cassiopeia will send Penny for another round of material rewards and League Points as well, and you can now continue to face the next squad.

Team Star Atticus ready for battle

The third base is located inside the Tagtree Thicket, where the poisonous Navi Squad resides. Their leader, Atticus, begins to display a stronger team than his predecessors, so be careful who you bring into the battle against his Poison-type team and his Navi Starmobile. Finishing the Let's Go phase will lead to his Boss battle, where he will show the following team:

Ruchbah Squad Leader - Ortega

Team Star Ortega ready for battle

The flashy fourth Team Star Leader Ortega will be waiting on the Ruchbah Squad Base at the North Province (Area Three), but to get inside and do the Let's Go challenge, you must first fight against Harrison, his piano teacher and former Naranja/Uva Academy Director. A call from Cassiopeia will also reveal to you that Team Star is actually formed by bullied kids, not the bullies, and that the whole team was all a plan to stand up against the true bullies at the school, a year ago. But if you want to know more about it, you must proceed to the last Base.

Caph Squad Leader - Eri

Team Star Eri ready for battle

Travel to the North Province Area Two, where the last Team Star Boss will be waiting outside the base. The sensitive Eri, leader of the Caph Squad, will be part of a brief cutscene where she and Clive spar for a bit before she heads back inside, and you have to fight one of the base guards to proceed to the Let's Go battle challenge. Go to Mesagoza to finish with this once and for all.

Naranja/Uva Academy Director Clavell/Clive

Once you arrive at the Academy, you will be intercepted by Clive, who surprises everyone by revealing he was Clive all this time (I cannot believe it, seriously). Head to the arena inside the Academy, where Cassiopeia will be waiting for you. By this point it's completely obvious Penny was Cassiopeia all this time, so you must prepare yourself to battle against the Team Star true leader, your friend Penny.
