A new Pokémon mobile game was released during today's Pokémon Direct: Pokémon Smile, which allows trainers to catch Pokémon while they brush their teeth. The app is available to download right now.

Pokémon Smile is a mobile game that lets trainers catch Pokémon while they brush their teeth. It is an app that targets parents who are struggling to get their children to brush their teeth, but all Pokémon fans can enjoy this new way to tackle a daily activity. Trainers brush their teeth, and the game mimics the person doing the activity. A cute virtual hat appears above the trainer's head, showing which Pokémon they are catching.  Dark clouds will appear, which trainers brush away. If the trainer brushes all the dark clouds away, they will catch the Pokémon.

Pokémon Smile isn't the first time that Pokémon has released a mobile game to tackle daily routines. Pokémon GO can be used by people all over the world while outside walking, and Pokémon Sleep will reward trainers for good sleeping habits. Pokémon Smile is just the next mobile game to help trainers deal with the mundane. It also teaches children good brushing habits and can help break some bad habits in adults.

Pokémon Smile is a genius idea and just another initiative from The Pokémon Company to turn everyday tasks into something fun for the entire family. Maybe they can create a Pokémon cooking game to help parents and kids learn how to cook healthy and delicious meals or a game where kids can catch Pokémon for cleaning their rooms. The Pokémon Company keeps finding ways to create healthy lifestyles for children with fun gameplay.

During today's Pokémon Present, The Pokémon Company also dropped some news regarding Pokémon Go, teased a major announcement for next week, and announced a new Pokémon Snap game for the Nintendo Switch. While this Pokémon Direct didn't announce a sequel to Pokemon Let's Go or Diamond and Pearl remakes, it did have some fun announcements for fans of the franchise. Plus, fans won't have to wait long for the next Pokémon announcement, as another Pokémon Presents will release next week and contain significant news for the franchise.
