Out of all the Pokémon games so far, Generation VIII's Sword & Shield have the widest variety of game features to explore outside of catching Pokémon and battling other trainers. Players can cook up a nice pot of curry, send their Pokémon out on various jobs, create their own League card, and customize their character.

With five clothing Boutiques in Galar and hundreds of clothes to choose from, customizing your character to fit your style can take some time and effort. So if you're going for something cute and stylish, check out these top picks from the Galar Boutiques.

Updated July 3rd, 2020 by Meg Pelliccio: Nintendo recently released the first batch of DLC for Sword and Shield with the Isle of Armor, and with it came a host of new content. Players were given access to a brand new area, story content, new features, Pokémon, and more.

One of the new additions to the game is the Style Card key item, given to players by their new rival when they first arrive in the Isle of Armor. This item unlocks a bunch of new clothing in all of Galar's boutiques, as well as new hairstyles, allowing players to overhaul their looks. Check out these super cute clothing items that you can buy.

15 Tapping Feet Knit Sweater

Added with the Isle of Armor DLC content via the Style Card, the Tapping Feat Knit Sweater is reminiscent of those corny Christmas jumpers you find everyone wearing in December. This adorable little jumper has the body of a Galarian Mr. Mime on the front, leaving the player's face to take the place of Mr. Mime's.

If you want to pick up this cute little sweater, simply head to the boutique in Circhester with your style card in hand, though it will set you back 41,000 Poké dollars.

14 Cream Casual Tee

Check out the cream of the crop with this adorable Cream Casual Tee that features a repeating Alcremie pattern. This top is perfect for those summer vibes and can be found in the Wedgehurst boutique as long as you have access to the expansion pass content.

Alcremie was one of the new Pokémon that debuted in Sword and Shield and it has many different forms based on which item you give it, what time of day you evolve it, and how you spin when attempting to evolve it

13 Camp Curry Casual Tee

As one of the new game features in Sword & Shield, journeying trainers can set up camp in the midst of their adventure for a quick break to relax with their Pokémon. At the campsite, you can play with your Pokémon, cook curry, and enjoy a meal together.

To get into the camping spirit, players can purchase this adorable Camp Curry Casual Tee at the Wedgehurst Boutique. The tee features a happy Shuckle enjoying a big plate of curry and is perfect to wear the next time you want to make some curry of your own.

12 Poliwag Pop Loose Top

The armless tadpole Pokémon, Poliwag, has been waddling around the Pokémon world since the first generation. It's always been a wholesome, wide-eyed Water-type, and it seems to have finally earned its place on adorable in-game merchandise seven generations later.

With the precious tadpole Pokémon as its main focus, the Poliwag Pop Loose Top features Poliwag's signature pout along with some bubbles and text. For this specific design, the male version is gray while the female one is white to add some variety. But regardless of the color, the top still has its charm.

11 Party Dress

The new Isle of Armor DLC added these gorgeous Party Dress designs available in a wide range of colors so you can choose the best one to suit your style. These beautiful elegant dresses can be found in Wyndon Boutique, providing you have the Style Card key item in your possession, of course.

Though these classy-looking dresses are pretty costly at 102,400 Poké-dollars each, they are very adorable with their bow detail and ruffled wrap skirt design. Now the only question is, which color will you choose?

10 Plaid Rucksack

Since backpacks and bags are essential to every trainer on an adventure, they are rarely ever taken off and, therefore, just as important as clothing in terms of fashion. As with every piece of clothing, the bags have to but cute, too.

In the game, the available bag styles tend to be on the bulkier side, perhaps to compensate for the thousands of Pokéballs and curry ingredients that magically all fit in there. One bulky albeit cute bag is the Plaid Rucksack, which is exclusive for female trainers. With the main plaid-patterned body, the rucksack also has three outer pockets for additional storage.

9 Penguin Casual Tee

Get ready for summer with the adorable seasonal color scheme of this casual tee, complete with an adorable little Eiscue holding an ice lolly. Eiscue is a new Pokémon that debuted with Sword and Shield; it's an Ice-type that has an ice-cube head, though it can change to its Noice form where it has a rounder head.

This t-shirt is only available to players who have access to the expansion pass, as the Style Card key item is required, then it can be bought from Wedgehurst boutique.

8 Casual Trainers

In a world where plain white sneakers have risen into popular fashion trends, it would be too easy and a little boring to list the solid white Casual Trainer shoes. In their stead, we have the Casual Trainers in two cute designs: the pale blue Ball Bonanza and the pale pink Lovely Nightmare.

Like many custom design shoes, the patterns stick to the side panels of the shoes and leave the rest white to keep it balanced. The designs are light and subtle but definitely give the shoes an extra boost of personality that the plain white ones do not.

7 Fuzzy Pastel Parka

Following the trendy style of pastel and chunky attire, the Fuzzy Pastel Parka is perfect for staying both warm and fashionable on your long adventure.

As the name suggests, the Fuzzy Pastel Parka steers clear of any bold or harsh patterns and sticks to a wide range of pastels from red to green and everything else in-between. To add a final touch of cuteness, the zipper has a charm in the shape of a cute little bow. Altogether, the soft and puffy cloud look resembles the fluff of a baby Wooloo.

6 Eternal Sleep Boatneck Sweatshirt

As a mushroom-like Amoonguss and Parasect, Shiinotic is not a Pokémon that is typically considered "cute," but its colorful design on the Boatneck Sweatshirt allows it to be seen in a new light.

At the same time, the name of the design, "Eternal Sleep," alludes to the mushroom Pokémon's dark side. Shiinotic lives in the forest and will use their pretty glow to attract its prey before putting them to sleep. They will then proceed to suck the life out of the sleeping victim, hence the name, "Eternal Sleep."

5 Varsity Jacket

Despite originating from a school setting, varsity jackets have been in style for quite a while. They are typically found with various patches and stripes lining the outer rims but can come in an endless amount of designs.

The Varsity Jackets found in the game are cute but also simple enough for anyone and everyone to pull off. The cheaper Varsity Jackets come in blue & white, red & cream, and green & black. However, if you're looking for something more luxurious and still cute, the Satin Varsity Jacket is available as one of the most expensive items in the game.

4 Rad Applin Knit Sweater

For players looking to perfect their cozy, winter look, the Rad Applin Sweater is a perfect choice. This adorable knitted jumper features the Grass/Dragon-type Pokémon on the front. Applin has two different forms that it can evolve into depending on the item that players give it, Appletun or Flapple, with each game version receiving a different item type.

This sweater is only available to players who have purchased the expansion pass and can be found in the boutique in Circhester.

3 Canvas Travel Bag

Out of all of the styling options, the bags seem to have the biggest differences between the male and female versions. Both male and female trainers have access to a canvas-style bag, but the male-exclusive Canvas Travel Bag has enough surface area to fit cute designs on them.

Two designs that stand out are the Leppa Laden and Ball Bonanza prints. The Leppa Laden print, of course, features the PP-restoring Leppa Berry along with a stylish leafy design. In contrast, The Ball Bonanza is covered with different types of Pokéballs on a nice washed out background.

2 Mischief Maker Boatneck Sweatshirt

Like Shiinotic, Impidimp is another unlikely Fairy Pokémon who found itself on the design of a super cute Boatneck Sweatshirt. The sweatshirt has a slight yellow-green tint to it and features two Impidimps playing with an assortment of flowers.

Contrary to how adorable they appear on the sweatshirt, Impidimp is known to be a very naughty Pokémon who purposely causes problems to collect negative energy. They may be "mischief makers" as the name of the design suggests, but the thought of them behaving like sweet angels is too cute to ignore.

1 Cute Clobbering Zippered Parka

Introduced in Sword & Shield, Clobbopus is the tiny octopus Pokémon with two boxing glove tentacles. It is known for its habit of punching things out of curiosity, which is a pretty cute quirk in itself.

Therefore, the quirky little octopus has its own Zippered Parka dedicated to it and its punching agenda. Although it is not actually a Water-type, Clobbopus is scattered across the parka with bubbly blue shades and peachy tones to match its color scheme. The dark blue flowery figures are assumed to be the bottom side of the Clobbopus.
