Sneasel is one of the original Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Gen II, and it remains popular to this day. Where To Find Sneasel In Sword & Shield

Sneasel can often be seen walking around Route 8 and Route 10, which makes sense as those are the snowy parts of Galar. As an Ice-type, Sneasel is also known to come out in the Wild Area when it's snowing. Look for it in the Bridge Field, Dusty Bowl, Giant's Cap, Hammerlocke Hills, Motostoke Riverbank, and Stony Wilderness zones.

How To Evolve Sneasel Into Weavile

Sneasel needs to hold the Razor Claw item and evolve at night to evolve into Weavile. You can find a free one around the Dusty Bowl, or buy it at Hammerlocke and Stow-on-Side.

What Weavile Does In Battle

Weavile is fast and hits hard. Its moves should reflect those talents, giving it a very straightforward build. Icicle Crash and Knock Off are the go-to for its same type moves. Ice Shard is its priority move for finishing off weakened foes. Finally, Low Kick is the surprise Fighting-type move which will help fend off those Rock and Steel-types Weavile is threatened by.
