In 2022, the Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle debuted, with a set of Halloween-themed Pokemon cards. Now, in 2023, the bundle is back, with a new crop of Pokemon! Filled with tons of cute artwork, it's hard to pick the best, but not impossible.

The 25 Rarest Pokemon Cards And What They're Worth
Pokemon cards are still popular as ever, and there are quite a few worth an actual fortune.

Here, we are going to go over some of the best cards in the Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle. In total, the set has 30 cards, with all of them being reprints of previous cards, along with the Trick or Trade logo on the corner of the artwork. Additionally, keep in mind that this is based on appearance, rather than how strong the card actually is.

8 Houndstone

pokemon trick or treat bundle houndstone

First up, we have Houndstone. This is a ghostly dog that first appeared in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. After just one year of existence, Houndstone (and Greavard, whom Houndstone evolves from) earned his place in the Trick or Treat bundle.

In this art, we see Houndstone doing what he does best; walking through a graveyard. The idea of a ghost/skeleton dog walking through a graveyard should be scary, but somehow, Houndstone still looks adorable.

7 Murkrow

pokemon trick or treat bundle murkrow

Overall, Murkrow is a bit unsettling. In real life, crows have an inherent 'spooky' vibe, and Murkrow is no exception. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, running into a group of Murkrow at night could be quite frightening. In this card, not only do we get one Murkrow, but we get a whole murder of them.

Yes, just in case you weren't aware, a flock of crows is called a murder. Many think this is due to the crow's appearance during and slightly before someone is going to die. The murder of Murkrow is essentially flying right at the viewer, looking quite menacing. Is this an omen of death? Regardless, the Pokemon looks intimidating and worthy of being included in a Halloween set.

6 Litwick

pokemon trick or treat bundle litwick

Litwick has been a fan favorite since the first appearance in Pokemon Black and White. When combining this cute little candle with the 3D figurine style of artwork, we couldn't skip over this card.

These terrifying trainers are scary good.

There are several cards that have this figurine appearance, and it's always so silly when compared to other cards. Still, we love Litwick, and we love his static appearance as he sits on some grass. Litwick embraces the cozy and cute side of Halloween, which is much needed.

5 Phantump

pokemon trick or treat bundle phantump

Phantump was one of our favorite cards for the 2022 Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle. In this previous art, Phantump was rather adorable, posing underneath a full moon on a grassy hill. Now, in 2023, Phantump looks like a force to be reckoned with.

In this art, it looks like Phantump is challenging some unknown force. Of course, many Pokedex entries allude to the fact that Phantumps are the souls of dead children possessing tree stumps, so maybe it has something to do with that.

4 Marshadow

pokemon trick or treat bundle marshadow-1

Marshadow doesn't seem to get enough love, but thankfully, we are here to change that. This Fighting/Ghost type Pokemon first appeared in Sun and Moon, and unfortunately, can only be found in the Alola region. In this art, we have a Marshadow who looks ready to take on whatever stands in the way.

With full art Pokemon cards, you have to just stop and admire the work - and these are the best ones.

Through the Pokedex, we learn that Marshadow is a mysterious Pokemon that is rarely spotted. Additionally, it can conceal itself in shadows, copying other Pokemon and learning the feelings of humans. Overall, this ghost not only looks great, but it is quite strong as well.

3 Polteageist

pokemon trick or treat bundle Polteageist

Tea, anyone? Polteageist is a ghost that lives in a teapot (which can be either authentic or phony), evolving from the previous teacup inhabited as Sinistea. While this art isn't spooky, it definitely leaves us asking some questions.

Mainly, where is this Polteageist? This seems to be a commercial kitchen. Is Polteageist working? Maybe these questions are silly, but it's fun to think of Polteageist working in a little bakery, bringing tea to patrons. Even a possessed teapot needs to make money somehow.

2 Spectrier

pokemon trick or treat bundle Spectrier

Introduced in The Crown Tundra DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield, Spectrier is an important Legendary Pokemon in regards to the story. In this DLC, Spectrier can fuse with Calyrex, with the end result looking a bit menacing.

In this Trick or Trade card though, Spectrier looks calm and peaceful. The Pokemon is described as solitary, often "craving silence and solitude". This artwork shows just that, as Spectrier looks at peace while appearing equally as beautiful.

1 Dhelmise

pokemon trick or treat bundle dhelmise

Last but not least, we have Dhelmise. In general, Dhelmise is an eerie Pokemon. Pokedex entries note that Dhelmise is made from the souls of seaweed that attached to pieces from a sunken ship. This ghost wraps the seaweed around others and "sucks away their vitality".

With this in mind, it seems that this card shows Dhelmise gearing up for an attack. Overall, the idea of a possessed sunken ship draining the life from other Pokemon is Halloween-worthy. Which poor Wailord will be its next victim?
