There are lots of attacks in the Pokémon world that scare trainers just by thinking of what it would be like if they were hit by one of these attacks themselves. Luckily the Pokémon in the franchise seem to be able to take these moves head-on, however, it definitely wouldn't be the same for people if they got hit by these attacks in the real world.

This list will cover some of the most deadly Pokémon attacks for humans if they could ever get hit by them in real life, and it will explain why fans are glad that they are not, in fact, real. From razor leaf to thunderbolt, here are 10 of the scariest moves that fans definitely do not want to exist!

10 Giga Drain

In the games, this move is a powerful attack that can be used to drain the enemy's HP and give it back to the user. This is a Grass-Type move and most Grass-Type creatures in the series, especially the final evolutions of a Pokémon, are capable of learning it.

It is all good and fun in the series and the games; however, in real life, this would drain a person's life force and could potentially even kill them. This is one move from which people would want to completely stay away.

9 Sing

This seems like a harmless and maybe even jovial move on the surface, however, it could be a lot more deadly than that. A person could use a Pokémon to dispense this attack in a room full of people and completely knock the entire room unconscious.

It would be one of the most dangerous moves that any person could become subject to and it is easy not to realize that because of its innocent nature. Jigglypuff and others who know this move would really be dangerous in real life.

8 Confuse Ray

Confuse Ray is another status effect-causing move that would be terrifying in real life. It could potentially cause amnesia or other mental health issues to a person that is hit by it and cause issues for them for their entire life.

It is worth giving this attack a spot on this list because being confused against a person's will is a terrible thing. Luckily this attack is n0t real or people would be subject to the Pokémon user's will and commands.

7 Ice Beam

Occasionally in the real world, people get completely frozen solid and this move would do just that. Because of its nature, this attack would instantly kill them once their bodies reach a certain temperature. A strong blast of ice would decimate any person or creature in the real world, so fans are glad that it is not a real thing.

A move like this one is easily one of the most deadly attacks in the entire franchise and if it were real it would be even worse. Luckily, as mentioned before, it is not real and people can avoid being frozen solid by mythical creatures.

6 Razor Leaf

This one is an obvious choice for this list because although sharp leaves do not seem to hurt creatures in the series very much, it would definitely have a negative effect on enemies in the real world. Sharp leaves being hurled at a person could cause many deadly injuries and cuts.

This attack is not real, so people have nothing to worry about. However, sharp leaves are not something to be messed around with. It is lucky for the Pokémon in the franchise that they do not seem to be affected much by these attacks unless they are weak against Grass-Type moves, other than slight wounds. It is a testament to the durability of Pokémon.

5 Hydro Pump

Hydro Pump is a Water-Type move that would completely destroy any person that gets in its way. Creatures could use this to potentially drown people by spouting a large blast of water at their bodies. However, the water pressure of the attack alone is probably enough to do some serious damage.

Water-Type attacks are usually weak and mundane; however, this one is extremely deadly in nature. If Pokémon were real, then Fire-Types would probably be easily killed by this attack because the rules of the world and its physics would be different than a cartoon.

4 Hyper Beam

Hyper Beam is similar to Hydro Pump because it is a powerful blast; however, it is even worse because it is made of more powerful elements. If it were real, it would easily go through its target's body, leaving very little of the body to be collected.

This move is an absolute must for this list because of how deadly it is and how dangerous it is even for Pokémon in the video games. If it was real then people would have a real danger to worry about from wild creatures that are not trained and could potentially attack them in the wild.

3 Thunderbolt

Thunderbolt, in spite of being somewhat of a misnomer, is exactly what it sounds like: it electrocutes the body of anything it hits using lightning. It is stronger than a normal blast of lightning and as everybody knows regular lightning is fairly deadly to anything that it strikes.

If this attack were real, it would easily fry anybody's body to a crisp and completely kill them. As with any electrocution, people would also be out of luck if the electricity reached the unfortunate person's heart. It is peculiar that in the series every person that gets struck by Pikachu's lightning never seems to be seriously hurt at all.

2 Curse

Curse is a move that can take the enemy with its user when the Pokémon that uses it faints. In real life, this could be used to kill a person by a Pokémon by soul-bonding with them and destroying itself.

A move like this would no doubt be used by evil people to do terrible things and it is weird that no evil team has thought of using it in such a way in the series or games so far.  Luckily, anything similar to a magic move like this does not exist in the real world or people would constantly be in fear for their lives.

1 Flamethrower

Flamethrower is a Fire-Type attack that would burn its opponent alive and even if a Pokémon could take it head-on in the real world, a human definitely could not. Flames are known to easily kill humans and other animals after prolonged exposure, so the world would probably be in chaos if this attack existed.

Flamethrower would definitely be illegal to use because of its fiery power, if it happened to exist in real life. Since it does not exist, people have nothing to worry about in terms of deadly fire blasts; however, this move terrifies fans that wonder what it would be like if it were real.
