Developer Timi is adding another piece of Holowear, this time allowing players to transform Talonflame into a pretty stylish looking golf enthusiast.

Bonfire Style Talonflame is available to purchase in Pokemon Unite right now, having been added yesterday evening. The Holowear costs 350 Aeos Gems, which is much better value than the game's recent offerings.

This is Talonflame's fourth Holowear, adding to the Pilot Style, Purple Unite and Orange Unite sets. Considering the number of skins it already has, it appears as if fans are slightly disappointed, instead wanting to see other 'mons in the roster get some love.

Amazingly, this isn't the only piece of dad-esque Holowear we've gotten recently. As we previously reported, Blastoise was added to the game alongside a skin that made him look like a pretty posh parental figure, with its vintage green suit complemented by a handkerchief and straw hat. Timi is clearly sticking to a theme here.

With any luck, Talonflame's latest threads are proof that the developers have listened to fan complaints, following the backlash to Sacred Style Alolan Ninetales. This controversial skin costs players $40 in Aeos Gems (2499 altogether), which is a microcurrency that cannot be earned through gameplay. With this latest piece of Holowear going for just a fraction of that price, that may be an indication that the profit wasn't worth the backlash.

After that debacle, the other Holowear released this week - firefighter Blastoise - went back down to the previous price cap of 1200 Aeon Gems. Which y'know, is still a fair bit ofmoney, but was at least less than a full-price video game.

Pokemon Unite launched on Nintendo Switch back in July, and has since been brought over to mobile too. Crossplay and cross-progression are enabled across these different releases, and with the game now reaching potentially thousands of more players, it's very likely that updates such as this will become more frequent. And with any luck, they won't break the bank again either.
