A Zapdos win almost always makes or breaks a game of Pokemon Unite. Defeating the legendary bird in the final two minutes can score you an absurd amount of goals, as every player on the team that defeated it is instantly granted a collective 110 points, and the enemy goal is made defenceless.

Typically, taking down a Zapdos requires good team coordination, often needing everyone to give it all they've got. However, some criminally sneaky players have found a way around this - just hide in the grass near the battle, then run out and steal the kill.

As seen in a clip shared to r/PokemonUnite, a Blastoise player patiently waits in the long grass, making them invisible on the map. Then, when the other team has been kind enough to bring Zapdos' HP down for them, they reemerge and steal the kill.

Wasting no time at all, they sprint over to the enemy goal and score 100 points. The other side tries to fight back, but to no avail, as the goal is defenceless and therefore the points are scored instantly. With this in mind, it's little wonder why some players are calling for the effects of a Zapdos kill to be nerfed.

Let this be a warning to you all - sometime's you really really don't have to go after Zapdos. If you're already in the lead, maybe just focus on keeping the enemies away from it. But if you must take it on, you better check the grass before you land the killing blow.
