Twitch streamer Pokimane has opened up about feeling "burnt out" and "ready to give up".

As reported by Dexerto, Pokimane recently posted a video on her secondary account talking about the pressures of being one of the top streamers on Twitch, and how she feels like she should always be working on something. In the video, she expresses that she feels "burnt out, unlike any other way I've been burnt out in the past".

In the video, Pokimane also says, "I just find myself doing so many things that I’m not excited about...I’m just a f**king shoulder. I always do things that I feel like I should do. All these years, I’ve been living my life and framing it in such a way where I avoid having any regret. But avoiding regret does not mean you are pursuing what you want. Those are two very, very different things.

"Why do I have seven figures in my bank account for? To feel like a slave to what I’m expected to do or to the capitalistic idea of making the most amount of money you can? I just don’t want this to be my norm.”

Later in the video, Pokimane expresses that she's feeling more positive about the situation because of the response from fans, but a recent Tweet from the streamer has started worrying her community again. In the Tweet, Pokimane said, "this has been a week of constant disappointments, and as someone who prides themself on being perpetually optimistic, I must admit: I give up".

She later followed up with another Tweet after fans started to get worried, "appreciate the kind words, friends!! I’ll be okay, I just need to re-prioritize my life and figure some things out. I’ll do my best, just like I’d want u all to in tough times as well". Although Pokimane seems to be struggling with keeping up with the stress of constantly streaming, she has still kept to her regular schedule as of the time of writing.
