Adult websites tend to be a type of website that gets a consistent flow of traffic. Whatever one may think of the services offered, they nonetheless manage to get a regular stream of site visitors. Now, one website could get even more as per the coronavirus.

Although a tongue-in-cheek move, relatively popular adult website xHamster will be providing a deal to regions affected by the coronavirus. Those in the Lombardy and Veneto regions of Italy, as well as Tehran, Iran, Daegu, South Korea, Wuhan, China, and Adeje, Canary Islands have access to a special deal from xHamster.

According to a tweet issued by the website's official Twitter account, the company will be offering free access to xHamster Premium until the end of March to people in the above-mentioned regions. The tweet can be seen below.

"Stay safe with xHamster," an image in the tweet concludes.

While it's charitable, if somewhat awkward, for the pornography website to offer this deal to regions affected by the coronavirus, now may not be the best time to do so. Adult sites have certainly never been the most respected of websites, but xHamster seems to be taking advantage in a weird way. Further, one has to wonder what consolation this offers to people frightened by the hazard proposed by the coronavirus in the above regions.

Of course, the impact of the coronavirus has been felt in a huge way. In the gaming industry, the coronavirus has disrupted the functioning of two of the biggest gaming conferences of the year: the Game Developers Conference and PAX East. Many gaming publishers and developers have dropped out of either event, including Square Enix and Sony from PAX East, as well as the initial pullout of EA and Kojima Productions from the GDC. However, the GDC has now been delayed well into the summer, showing the sheer impact of the coronavirus altogether.

The fact of the matter is that the coronavirus could well have a lasting impact on gaming events altogether. Hopefully, the coronavirus isn't a danger for much longer, however.

For those who are in areas affected by the coronavirus, do take proper precautions.
