Mundane daily tasks seem to have taken the gaming world by storm. Ordinarily, this wouldn’t sound too exciting, but one of the best things about gaming is that you can switch your busy brain off and relax, and completing menial tasks is one of the best ways to do that.

It is hard to top the kind of satisfaction you feel while playing PowerWash Simulator. But cleaning all those parks and homes has got us thinking about some iconic video game locations we would love to get sparkling clean, and these made it to the top of the list.

10 Castle Oblivion - Kingdom Hearts

Castle Oblivion Kingdom Hearts

We don’t know who Castle Oblivion's janitor is, but they deserve a raise. That place is so bright you can probably see your reflection on the walls. That’s why we think it would be by far the most satisfying place to clean in PowerWash Simulator.

Some serious butt was kicked in that castle, and that's gotta leave some marks. Restoring the pristine walls of Castle Oblivion with your trusty power washer after Sora and Riku smashed Xehanort’s minions to a pulp would be the height of satisfaction.

9 The Baker's House - Resident Evil: Biohazard

The Bakers House Resident Evil Biohazard

Resident Evil: Biohazard didn’t get its name for no reason. It is next to impossible to finish that game and not run headfirst into your shower. Between the blood, guts, flies, rotten food, and possible Salmonella that’s coating that place, it would be hard to know where to start.

She’s a big job. And probably one that only a power washer could take on - as long as it's on its highest setting, so we can stand as far away from the house as possible. But if anything could get the walls of the Baker’s house sparkling, it's PowerWash Simulator.

8 The Goth's House - The Sims

The Goth’s House The Sims

The grand home of Bella and Mortimer Goth is absolutely iconic. The Goths have firmly landed themselves a starring role in the history of The Sims, and it would be almost impossible to pass up the opportunity to power wash such a historical building.

The Goth’s definitely seem too posh to be scrubbing their own walls, but it would be an absolute walk in the park for a power washer. Too bad you can blast away the judgmental stares they send your way as well.

7 Beecher's Hope - Red Dead Redemption

Beechers Hope Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption is set in the Wild, Wild West. And what’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the Wild West? No, it's not cowboys, horses, or stand-offs. That’s right: dust. If the tumbleweeds are anything to go by, it’s pretty dusty out there.

That means that Beecher’s Hope is probably constantly covered in a thick layer of dust. Just think of how satisfying it would be to blast off all the dirt that's caked on the outside of that building. Our fingers are crossed for some Red Dead Redemption DLC for PowerWash Simulator.

6 The Last Resort - Luigi's Mansion 3

Luigis Mansion 3 the Last Resort

There sure are a lot of ghosts in Luigi’s Mansion. And where there are ghosts, there is ectoplasm - allegedly. It isn’t really Luigi's mansion per se, but we are still willing to get it shiny and new for him. As long as Luigi takes care of the ghosts on the inside, we’ve got the outside covered.

Thankfully, no dirt or grime is tough enough to survive a blast from the power washer, even ectoplasm. Though we imagine we might have to get out our most powerful attachments for it.

5 Princess Peach's Castle - Mario Odyssey

Peach’s Castle Mario Odyssey

Peach is usually pretty tied up, so who else is going to maintain the pearly white walls of Peach’s Castle while everyone has run off to save her again? That’s right, sounds like it's a job for PowerWash Simulator.

Someone’s gotta keep those beautiful pink roof tiles sparkling as bright as Peach’s smile will be when she is safely returned home by Mario. Or maybe her expression will be more like “not again”, but we digress. Perhaps she should invest in some security instead of getting her castle cleaned. CastleGuard Simulator, anyone?

4 Cranky's Cabin - Donkey Kong Country

Crankys Cabin Donkey Kong Country

Cranky doesn’t look like he moves around much, especially not to do some deep cleaning anyway, that's for sure. And who knows, maybe he’s so cranky because his place needs a nice blasting in PowerWash Simulator.

Cranky is always banging on about how things were back in his day. So maybe making his cabin as clean as it was the day it was built would be enough to put a smile on his face.

3 Alchemilla Hospital - Silent Hill

Alchemilla Hospital Silent Hill

Alchemilla Hospital is one of two hospitals in the Silent Hill games. It is also more than likely one of the dirtiest medical facilities to exist, even in the virtual realm. Alchemilla Hospital looks like you could contract an infection just by looking at it, but no job is too big for PowerWash Simulator… right?

Although cleansing this building could be more on the anxiety-inducing side than the relaxing side, it still deserves a chance. And what’s a video game without a little bit of adventure? But although we are confident in the power washer's ability to fully clean Alchemilla Hospital, we’re not sure if anything is strong enough to wash away the sins that occurred there.

2 Freddy Fazbear's Pizza - Five Nights At Freddy's

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Five Nights At Freddys

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is not your average pizza shop, especially at nighttime. In fact, the amount of killing that occurs there on a regular basis makes it quite abnormal. We imagine it also makes the place quite filthy.

The best thing about power washing Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza would not only be the satisfaction of watching all the cheese grease and blood melt away, but also the fact that the pressure washer probably doubles as a weapon.

1 Hyrule Castle - The Legend Of Zelda

Hyrule Castle The Legend of Zelda

When you’re thinking about some of the most iconic video game buildings to clean on PowerWash Simulator, Hyrule Castle is surely one of the first that comes to mind. Honestly, Zelda has been through enough. She shouldn’t have to have cleaning the outside of the castle at the top of her to-do list.

And to be fair, Hyrule Castle is pretty tall. We think the only thing capable of reaching the highest windows would be a handy dandy pressure washer.
