Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets features 100 monster-dodging challenges as you attempt to first escape the Aurora Space Station and eventually, save Earth from total destruction. These puzzles, while difficult, are fairly forgiving with their check points and infinite resets. That is, until the final level.

It is revealed, not surprisingly, that you yourself are one of Professor Lupo's pets, and that each death was not a reset, but a new clone being awoken and placed at the last check point. It's an interesting way to contextualize the respawn trope in video games, but once you learn the truth, you'll no longer have the safety net of infinite clones to push your progress forward.

In the final challenge of Professor Lupo you'll have 20 minutes to reach the Professor and halt the nuclear attack on earth. This clock does not reset when you die: you will need to make it from beginning to end in 20 minutes or start the entire level over. This is one of the more difficult challenges in the game, so we'll be breaking down the entire sequence step by step.

Part 1: The Sagitta And The Osculum

Move through the green and red door on the left and you'll be in a chamber with a Sagitta. As soon as you step into the room, step 1 space up so the Sagitta will roll toward you and bounce off the door, rolling all the way back. Now, move one space down and one to the left, wait for him to stop rolling and look for you again, and as soon as he starts rolling, move up the middle hall and through the red door before it closes. Move left through the green and up as soon as it opens.

In this next room, you need to lure the Osculum into the bottom hall. To do this, move to the left as soon as the yellow door opens then wait. As soon as the red door opens, move towards the Osculum until he sees you, then quickly back through the yellow door before it closes. Now simply move up and to the left through each door as it opens

Part 2: One Hungry Vermis

This section is all just timing, but figuring out which way to go means you should be aware of what order the doors open: Red, Yellow, then Green. Wait until the green door is just about to close before moving through it and releasing the Vermis. Then go left through the yellow door, up and right through yellow and green. Then up through the red and green, and right through the yellow, red and green. Finally go right through the green and blue and you'll be out of this section without the Vermis catching you.

Part 3: Hungry Hungry Ultor

This section is straightforward, you just have to be quick and not miss any moves. Right before the red door closes, dip up to get the Ultor's attention: now it's time to run. Get through each door as fast as you can and you just barely dodge the Sagitta who will quickly get eaten by the Ultor. when the yellow door opens stand in the doorway above the fire so it can't close again. When the fire stops, quickly move down the hall to get out of its path. The fire will kill the pursuing Ultor, giving you an easy path to the exit.

Part 4: Fire Bad

When the flames stop, move down through the yellow door into the middle hallway. When the yellow door opens, move through the human sensor and immediately double back. If you time it well, you'll get back to the top hallways just as the flame stops. Move right down the top hall and up through the blue door that Fire has opened for you, killing the Furax that is following.

Once again, as soon as the fire dies down move back left up the hall and down to the entrance of the next chamber. You'll encounter a swarm of angry Parvus here, so bait them out of the oxygen shower but move away quickly so that they stop and swarm just to the right of it.

Once they have calmed down, walk into the swarm to attach them to you. Move next to the green oxygen shower, and as soon as it goes down, quickly move through both the green and yellow showers and up to the closed door. Now, simply move through each door as it opens while Professor Lupo tries to convince you to let him live. Make sure you stand in each doorway when it opens so that it stays open until the next one opens up. When you finally reach Professor Lupo, the swarm of Parvus will attack him, causing him to hit the airlock, ejecting himself and stopping the nuclear attack.

Congratulations! You've reached the end of Professor Lupo and his Horrible Pets! The Intern and Fire will share some words of solace as they accept their fate and float on through space. Surely there are many dangerous pets left on board the Aurora Space Station, let's not count out a sequel just yet.
