While Persona 5 has two versions on the PlayStation 4, Persona 5: Royal has more content and is a longer game with 103 hours of the main story to get through. The game follows a high school student known as Joker and other students as they become the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Their mission is to enter the Metaverse and steal away the evil that may lie in adults' hearts. But this isn't easy as they must fight shadow versions of themselves known as Personas. The game is an RPG that combines elements of a dungeon crawler as well as a dating simulator.

The length of its main mode is approximately 187 hours, but this pales compared to approximately 698 hours overall content for completionists to conquer. The game is yet another iteration of the longtime high-selling simulation, with this game having a complete redo of its graphics. On top of this, the game also features plenty of vehicles to use and many different environments to farm in with both American and European farms available.
