14 SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES

Coming from Insomniac Games is the next standalone Spider-Man title. This time things will focus on Miles Morales, who revealed he gained powers at the end of the last Spider-Man game, and now he's becoming a superhero on his own.  This title won’t be a proper sequel, but a standalone title similar to some of Sony’s previous efforts such as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy or Horizon: Frozen Wilds.

13 GRAN TURISMO 7

Gran Turismo has been confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 5 with Gran Turismo 7. Polyphony Digital is back again reminding everyone that they are the best in show when it comes to making racing simulation titles. If people didn’t enjoy GT Sport, this game seems like it’s back to what everyone loves about Gran Turismo.

12 RATCHET AND CLANK: RIFT APART

Ratchet and Clank makes a return thanks to Insomniac. This might be the best looking game on PlayStation 5 at the moment, as it takes advantage of Sony’s Solid State Drive. The game sees Ratchet and Clank going to different worlds using special rift technology, seamlessly entering new worlds without any load screens.

11 PROJECT ATHIA

Square-Enix has been present at every single PlayStation reveal since the PS3, and this was no exception. This time they had the new title from Luminous Productions, the company responsible for Final Fantasy XV.

Selene in Returnal

Developer Housemarque is normally known for twin-stick shooters like Resogun, but this time they’re entering the world of third-person shooters. Returnal is about a woman trapped on a planet where everything changes each time she dies. Since it’s developer Housemarque, it’s a given the game’s shooting will be some of the most refined of the next generation.

8 SACKBOY: A BIG ADVENTURE

Sumo Digital brings back one of Sony’s platforming friends with the appearance of Sackboy: A Big Adventure. A 3D platformer taking on the legacy of Little Big Planet, the title can be played alone or in a group for the best kind of shenanigans.

7 DESTRUCTION ALLSTARS

Developers Lucid Games and XDev showed off Destruction Allstars, a game based on vehicle combat. The game seems to be a mix of Rocket League and Twisted Metal, with everyone being able to battle and destroy cars. The trailer seemed to imply players will be able to play outside the vehicle, but that part remains to be seen. But there does seem to be a wide array of cars to do battle with.

6 GHOSTWIRE: TOKYO

Tango Gameworks made a splash during E3 when they showed off their latest title, Ghostwire: Tokyo.
