The official PlayStation Twitter account has announced that a PS5 Showcase event will take place on September 16 at 1 pm Pacific Time.
Sony hasn't revealed exactly what will be shown at the event, but a price and a solid release date seem a given, considering that Microsoft has taken the initiative with the Xbox Series S/X. It's also possible that we'll learn more about the launch line-up of the system, which is still relatively bare.
