"Star Trek" fans will want to exit warp speed and head for the nearest starbase on July 11th for the all-day live streaming event Day of Honor hosted on the Queue Times Twitch channel.
The Day of Honor is being organized by Star Trek Online, Modiphius, Eaglemoss, and the Streampunks, and will be focused on honoring the Klingons of "Star Trek" canon. Multiple "Star Trek" alumni, video and tabletop game producers and creators, and RPG live play stars will be hosting panels on "Star Trek" and Klingon lore, products, updates, and roleplaying across a variety of "Star Trek" mediums.
Only the initial announcement has been made so far, including the current schedule of events and their expected start and run times. More details will be added as the event day draws closer.
Star Trek Online is the official MMORPG based on the "Star Trek" franchise developed by Cryptic Studios and Perpetual Entertainment and launched in 2010. STO team members are scheduled to host two panels during the day. In the first, STO Lead Ship and UI Artist Thomas Marrone and collectibles company Eaglemoss will discuss the art of designing starships and the Star Trek Online Starships Collection. In their second panel, STO Community Manager Mike Fatum will discuss recent STO updates with members of the dev team and two mystery Klingon VIPs.
A team of devs and writers from Modiphius (creators of the stellar Star Trek Adventures tabletop RPG) are scheduled to meet with special guest Rick Sternbach to discuss his extraordinary sci-fi illustrations and his years of working with "Star Trek" films.
The Streampunks is a federation of "Star Trek" fans brought together by their love of the Trek universe and in support of the highly skilled tabletop Game Master Eric Campbell ("Shield of Tomorrow", "Clear Skies", "Callisto 6"). Campbell is scheduled to host a panel showcasing a new upcoming Star Trek Adventures live play game, "Blood of the Void", that will feature a cast of superb players all roleplaying as Klingons. This new live play series is the counterpart to the Federation-focused Star Trek Adventures game "Clear Skies" expertly GM'd by Campbell.
Eminent actor and RPG roleplayer Aliza Pearl ("Blood of the Void", "Callisto 6", "Rat Queens") is scheduled to moderate a panel with expert Klingon actors from "Star Trek: Discovery" discussing our favorite warriors of Kahless, including their language and culture.
