Square Enix's upcoming tactical RPG for mobile phones will be bringing back some characters from one of its most famous tactics games, as War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will have a collaboration event with Final Fantasy Tactics that brings back Ramza, Gaffgarion, and Thunder God Cid.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is an upcoming mobile game that is set in the same world as Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. The game is set in the continent of Ardora, where five nations are engulfed in a massive conflict known as the War of the Visions. War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is heavily inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics, which is considered by many to be the best game in the series.

The connections between War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Final Fantasy Tactics have been obvious from the start and Square Enix wants to highlight this with a collaboration. A recent livestream held by Square Enix revealed that three characters from Final Fantasy Tactics would be appearing in War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius as part of a collaboration event that is currently being developed. The War of the Visions Community Twitter has revealed key art for the upcoming collaboration.

The details regarding the collaboration are scant, but it has been revealed that Ramza  Beoulve (the protagonist of Final Fantasy Tactics), Goffard Gafffgarion, and Cidolfus Orlandeau will be part of the event. The developers of War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius have said that the Final Fantasy Tactics collaboration won't be available at launch, so hopefully they will have time to do things right and add Agrias and Wiegraf to the event.

There are still many Final Fantasy fans who adore Final Fantasy Tactics and have been waiting a long time to see a true sequel that sheds light on Ramza's life after the events of the first game, as well as a remastered version of the original for modern systems. The Final Fantasy Tactics series might never return, but its spirit lives on in other tactical RPGs like War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will be released for Android and iOS devices in Japan on November 14, 2019, with a worldwide release planned for the future.
