The Fire Emblem series of tactical RPGs didn't make it big in the West until after the new Millenium, but, though European and North American gamers eventually came for the methodical combat, they stayed for the waifus and husbandos.

Most of the games carry a very blatant anime vibe, and they're all driven by their loveable, memorable, and utterly attractive characters. Shut up, it's not a phase, mom—she's real to me!

Since it first got started on the Famicom in 1990, Fire Emblem has featured a cast of characters for which we've all had a sweet spot. While the terms "waifu" and "husbando" are pretty much memes at this point, that's not going to keep us from gushing about these cuties!

10 Camilla - Fire Emblem Fates

Camilla has been on our minds ever since she first walked into Fire Emblem Fates back in 2015, and we swear it has nothing to do with the fact that she's nearly nude from the waist down when she makes her entrance.

She's not all fan service, of course; a child of royalty, she's formed some complex relationships and comes across as a fairly serious character. She adopts a very motherly attitude with Corrin, to whom she relates due to her background. It's slightly creepy, but this matronly maiden has left an impact on Fire Emblem fans which won't soon be forgotten.

9 Roy - Fire Emblem The Binding Blade

Roy may be a bit of a controversial pick for this list, as, though he's certainly a brave warrior, he isn't exactly the epitome of "manliness." In fact, when it comes to love, he's a little bit oblivious. He's also supposed to be fifteen years old... so there's that.

Gamers were actually first introduced to this character in Super Smash Bros: Melee, and he made his series debut a year later in 2002's Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade for the GameBoy Advance, and, despite being relegated to such an obscure game, he's remained a fan favorite over the years.

8 Tharja - Fire Emblem Awakening

Tharja is dark, mysterious, and sports some seriously revealing attire. Seriously, she leaves so little to the imagination that it's amazing to think these games are Nintendo exclusive.

She is really, really obsessed with Robin, the protagonist of Fire Emblem Awakening, and we'd be really charmed if she weren't almost offputting about it. She's also got a bit of a cold personality, but that only adds to her mystique. She's a stark contrast to many of the vibrant, cheerful characters in Fire Emblem, and we have no doubt that she's at the top of many fans' list of Fire Emblem Waifus.

7 Hinata - Fire Emblem: Fates

Hinata from Fire: Emblem Fates sports some boyish good looks, but he also rocks the grizzled samurai look, which is a captivating combo. He's the kind of laid back dude we'd love to hang out with... or romance, depending on how things turn out.

He's one of the most personable supports in the game, and he's always eager to care for others. Though he's said to have a reputation for laziness, he rarely shows it and is often eager to prove his might in battle. Plus, his skills with a katana automatically bump him up a few notches on the husband-o-meter.

6 Nowi - Fire Emblem Awakening

Fire Emblem Awakening's Nowi is the quintessential anime elf girl; she may look and act like she's way too young, but she's actually 1,000 years old, so the FBI will have to stay outside unless they come back with a warrant.

Born to an unknown race of beings on an unknown continent, Nowi was captured shortly after her birth and auctioned off as a slave. That hasn't affected her chipper demeanor, though, and the only time she doesn't adopt a child-like tone is when she's disciplining her own children. She's easy on the eyes and has a particularly uplifting personality.

5 Chrom - Fire Emblem Awakening

No list of Fire Emblem husbandos could be complete without Chrom. The prince and eventual Exalt of Ylisse and the distant descendant of Marth, Fire Emblem Awakening's protagonist stands among the most important characters in the entire series.

That said, he's also the perfect husbando; a charming knight through and through, Chrom remains steadfast in his determination and stands unwaveringly against his opponents. Much like Link protecting Princess Zelda, Chrom feels like a perfect husband for a potential waifu. Sure, his steadfast attitudes make him a little bland, but we've spent so much time with him at this point that we can't turn back.

4 Edelgard - Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Given how much of a hit Fire Emblem: Three Houses has been as of late, we felt inclined to include at least one character from the game. Edelgard may not be the fan-favorite choice, but there's something about her calculating, cold presence that's alluring. Also, her red and black color scheme is extremely eye-catching.

One of the central characters in the Three Houses storyline, Edelgard is, for better or worse, definitely on everyone's minds right now. She has the air of a fierce, fearless tactician, which makes her a great person to have in your corner, and she's a definite contrast to some of the game's softer characters.

3 Soren - Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

Soren from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn may be a bit of a standoffish loner, but there's nothing wrong with that! He's a total cynic, and, let's be honest, kind of a jerk, but he represents that part in all of us which we're a little too embarrassed to bring out in polite company.

He's got a good heart once you get past all of that dark mage stuff, too. In fact, he's totally dedicated to Ike, who actually calls him a "softie" because of his total infatuation. He's definitely not typical husbando, but Soren is cute in his own way.

2 Lucina - Fire Emblem Awakening

Is it wrong to put Lucina on this list when we've already mentioned how much we want to marry Chrom? Yes? Well, that's just too bad, then.

The daughter of Chrom, Lucina is a driven woman bent on saving the future from the horrible fates which would befall it. As a result, she's loyal to a fault and eager to keep everyone alive by any means necessary. She also pretty much looks exactly like a female version of Chrom, so that may have been a factor in our decision. She has to be near the top of just about everyone's Fire Emblem hotties list.

1 Felix - Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Felix is a loveable rogue from Fire Emblem: Three Houses who, despite training in the officer's academy, doesn't appear to care much for order or authority. He only respects those who can match him in combat, and he ignores much of the chivalry required of someone in his position.

He seems to greatly admire Byleth, another great swordsman, and his disrespect for almost everyone else is palpable. That said, we can't help but admire those who reject society's norms and forge their own paths. Felix is definitely one of those guys, and we would take him as our husbando any day of the week.
