Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is a surprisingly dense game with many things to see and do as you progress through the main story. However, your time with the game does not necessarily stop when you roll credits, as there is still much more for you to discover.

There are things to collect, weapons to upgrade, and many sights to see in the post-game of Rift Apart that it easily offers a few extra hours worth of content to the game's already meaty story - not that we're complaining by any stretch, there's just a lot to do! It can be easy to feel overwhelmed or even lost after seeing credits and getting thrown back into the world with much to do. However, when broken down, everything seems more manageable and straightforward.

Updated October 3, 2023, by Seth Parmer: Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has been out for a little over two years at this point, giving us an excuse to revisit this list to have a fresh coat of paint to it, tweaking the format to make it not only more presentable but more comprehensible. While not much has changed for what you will be doing in the post-game, we still wanted to ensure you had the best possible viewing experience to tackle everything the game has to offer after rolling credits!

10 Side Quests

One of the more essential systems in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is the Side Quests, which will start popping up as you progress in the game's main story. Some Side Quests will present themselves to the player naturally as they reach a new planet or come across a new area, but others will take some exploration to find.

Furthermore, it is essential to seek out and do every Side Quest in Rift Apart, as they will reward you handsomely with large sums of Bolts or rare collectibles and armor pieces. Finally, doing Side Quests is also a great way to earn experience for Ratchet and Rivet and their weapons.

9 Collect Every Weapon

There are eighteen weapons in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, most purchasable through Ms. Zurkon, the game's weapons vendor. Additionally, some weapons are found throughout the world or rewarded by finding all the Spybots in the game.

Collecting all eighteen weapons in Rift Apart is no easy task, as you will need a ton of Bolts to purchase them or find Collectibles -- all of which are time-consuming, if not a little tedious. However, this process is more than worth your time and effort, as the last obtainable weapon in the game is pure insanity.

8 Max Out Every Weapon

Every weapon in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart maxes out at Level 5 - Level 10 in Challenge Mode and can be further upgraded by Ms. Zurkon with Raritanium. Reaching Level 5 with every weapon should not be too challenging, especially considering how much the game constantly encourages players to swap between everything in their arsenal.

However, fully upgrading every weapon will take quite some time in Rift Apart due to the sheer volume of Raritanium it will take to complete that task. Raritanium, as its name implies, is rare to come by, making this a daunting, late-game escapade.

7 Track Down Every Collectible

There are four main Collectibles in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, all of which go towards unlocking various valuable things in the game. Unfortunately, much like everything mentioned previously, this is also a time-consuming task.

Finding every piece of Armor, Gold Bolt, Spybot, and Lorbs will be the ultimate post-game goal for the player to tackle immediately after rolling credits. Each Collectible unlocks a unique perk for the player, ranging from weapons to cheats and anything in between. 6 Tackle The Arena

Players will be acquainted with the Arena early on in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart but may never revisit it in favor of continuing the rest of the story or doing many of the other things the game offers, which is understandable.

Understandable as it may be, it is, unfortunately, a mistake as the Arena contains some of the game's Collectibles, which are necessary for 100% completion and getting the last weapon in the game. In addition, the Arena will reward the player with Armor, a Gold Bolt, and a Spybot, so make sure to revisit it at some point in your adventure!

5 Cheat!

Yup, you read that right. Thanks to the game's Gold Bolt Collectible, you can "cheat" in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. These Cheats can be activated anytime, so as long as you have enough Gold Bolts collected, we recommend holding off on using them until you at least beat the game.

Collecting enough Gold Bolts will allow players to change their head size, flip their screen horizontally, and even play with different filters enabled. However, some Cheats like "Unlimited Health" will turn off Experience gain, so it's best to hold off on using them until you see the game through to the end.

4 Give Photo Mode A Shot

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has an incredible Photo Mode that makes capturing the game's beautiful world and characters easy, fun, and relaxing. After completing the main game, players can access every planet and location, providing endless opportunities to take stunning pictures with Photo Mode in the end game.

Photo Mode also allows the player to make Ratchet or Rivet strike different poses, change their expression, or even eliminate them for scenery photos. There are also many additional filters and lighting options, allowing players with a keen eye and creativity to create something truly remarkable. So give it a shot and capture something unique!

3 Relax And Listen To Music

In Zurkie's bar, Rivet will have access to a Jukebox, allowing her to play multiple tracks from the game on it and additional tracks only present on the Jukebox. However, what might not be known is more tracks for the Jukebox are obtainable via Gold Bolts and are very good and worth the listen.

Unfortunately, most Gold Bolts won't get collected on your initial playthrough, so after finding all of them in the post-game, find a Jukebox and listen to the tracks you unlocked! You won't regret it!

2 Challenge Mode

Challenge Mode is essentially Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart's New Game+ and adds a few new twists into the game that might be worth seeking out to some players. This mode will raise the level cap for weapons from 5 to 10 and the character level from 10 to 20, allowing players to obtain Omega variants of their guns and have up to 200 HP.

Everything from your previous playthrough will also carry over into Challenge Mode and give players who missed out on the pre-order weapons (The Pixelizer and Bouncer) the chance to obtain them. However, please note that Challenge Mode will place you back at the start of the game!

1 Obtain The Platinum Trophy

The Platinum Trophy in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is the culmination of everything on this list and then some. Turning out to be surprisingly tricky to get, the Platinum Trophy is still a blast to grab.

Getting the Platinum Trophy requires the player to obtain every weapon and Collectible and complete various challenges mainly focused on the game's weapons. Most Trophies are obtainable by simply progressing through the game, but the remaining ones will eat away at your time and, perhaps, even your patience. Making the post-game the true challenge that awaits you.
