Ubisoft is offering the cult classic platformer Rayman Origins for free on PC. The giveaway is being held throughout the entire week until December 22.

Rayman Origins is a 2D platformer that launched in 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360. It later arrived on PC in 2012. What's cool here is that thanks to UbiArt Framework, Origins got a timeless look that hasn't aged at all. It's an exciting adventure suitable for everyone — with varied level design, vibrant colours, and fascinating music. The title currently stands at "Very Positive" user reviews on Steam.

You can already add Rayman Origins to your games library by logging in at Ubisoft Connect here or at the Ubisoft Store page through your browser right here. Once claimed, the title is yours to keep and enjoy whenever you want.

The current promotion is yet another part of the company's 35th-anniversary celebration that includes two months of special events, gifts, and retrospectives at its major milestones. Earlier in November, Ubisoft held several giveaways, including Assassin's Creed Chronicles Trilogy and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

While Ubisoft's gaming legacy undoubtedly stays strong, there is a lot of ambivalence with the French publisher and developer today. Not only is the company is facing ongoing toxic workplace issues, but it has also rolled out a new NFT initiative for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which is just as confusing for its employees as for the players.
