Razer today announced an affordable version of its Opus headset, dubbed the Opus X. Retailing for just $99, the Opus X features Active Noise Canceling, Bluetooth 5.0, and 40mm drivers for high-quality audio.

Despite sharing many of the same features as the $200 Opus headset, the Opus X lacks THX certification and loses a few other premium specs to reach that lower price tag. Still, Razer seems to have packed a lot of punch into the flashy headsets, and it’ll be interesting to see how their performance stacks up to their older sibling.

Here’s a full spec list for the Razer Opus X:

  • 40mm drivers
  • Active Noise Cancelling technology
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • 60ms low latency Gaming Mode
  • Two built-in microphones
  • 30+ hours battery life
  • Available in Green, Quartz, and Mercury

Opus X headsets also come with a Quick Attention Mode that lets you cancel out ANC and hear your surroundings – if you’d rather not lift your hands and take them off your head. Much of its design seems to have been borrowed from the Opus, and you’ll have a variety of buttons and status indicators on the headset to quickly adjust the volume or turn off ANC.

The flashy and affordable headset is now available for $99, although the Opus X Green edition is a limited exclusive only available through Razer.com and RazerStores.
