Gaming miniatures and accessories shop Reaper Miniatures will be hosting ReaperCon Live Online this September 3-7, and everyone is invited. Reaper will be streaming the con online, and will be showcasing numerous miniature painting classes and live games - all for free.

Like a great many other cons that were supposed to happen this year, the original ReaperCon 2020 was canceled earlier this year, in May. Thankfully, also like a great many other cons, ReaperCon Live Online is happening online this year, and has been extended an extra day more than the original con had planned. Reaper is bringing in master mini painters from all over the world to hold classes on painting our minis. Reaper has also partnered with Monkey Mind Tabletop to host Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer’s League (DDAL) and Paizo Organized Play (POP) games which you can sign up to play in.

The mini painting classes happening during ReaperCon Live Online are being presented under Reaper Miniatures’ Reaper U program. The Reaper U classes page has all the details on the classes being presented during the con, which includes Beginner Freehand, Airbrushing 101, Organic Basing Materials, Color Theory 101, Mini Painting with Kids, and many more. A few of the well-known master mini painters who will be teaching classes during the con include Aaron Lovejoy, Lyn Stahl, and Michal "Mocha" Schultz.

The tabletop games to be run during the con are being handled by Warhorn game event managers, and you’ll need to register for the games you’d like to play in through their website. Not to worry, though, as Reaper has provided explicit instructions on how to do that on the ReaperCon Live site. Note that you will need to be already set up and familiar with DDAL and POP if you want to play in any of their games.

Reaper has also provided direct instructions on how to join their Discord, in case you have any questions regarding ReaperCon Live, or if you would just like to join an excellent community of gamers and mini painters. There is also an extensive FAQ section on the ReaperCon Live page covering the online con and the canceled con.
