New Austin

  • You’ll find pronghorn roaming south to southwest of Ratherskeller Fork in the Gaptooth Ridge region of New Austin.
  • From there, you can follow the state border southwest to patrol a couple of other pronghorn habitats. The Baja California Pronghorn is partial to the Gaptooth Ridge region, so don’t be surprised to find them taking up local residency.
  • They can be found in and around the town of Tumbleweed to the east as well.
  • Sonoran Pronghorn commonly grace the open plains in New Austin, so you’ll likely find them across the open expanse southwest of Tumbleweed.
  • The Rio Bravo region as a whole makes for some prime pronghorn hunting grounds. The Baja California is also indigenous to these parts.
  • Pronghorns roam the desert and hills south of Armadillo in Cholla Springs. This habitat runs between the town from above Lake Don Hulio and along Jordan’s Gap, almost as far north as Twin Rocks.
  • You may find them wandering southeast and northwest of Armadillo as well.
  • To the east in Hennigan’s Stead, pronghorn are found roaming from north to south across the central region, trekking in and around MacFarlane’s Ranch and below.
  • You may also spot a smaller population further west near the San Luis River.

West Elizabeth

  • In West Elizabeth, where the American Pronghorns roam, you’ll find them wandering a path north to southeast around Manzanita Outpost.
  • They also trek along the southern bank of the Upper Montana River north of the outpost.
    • Smaller populations are found upstream and directly across the river from this location, on the northern bank.
  • The most prominent pronghorn location in West Elizabeth wanders along the Little Creek River at the top of the state and along the western border south of the creek.
  • You may also spot some roaming near Wallace Station to the northwest.

New Hanover

  • While pronghorn can be spotted on both sides of the Dakota River, they are more prominent on the banks of New Hanover.
    • You’re more likely to find them in equal measure at the river mouth, where it flows into Flat Iron Lake.
  • The best pronghorn hunting grounds are probably the lands spanning from the southeast to the northeast of Flatneck Station.
  • From there, you should have luck finding pronghorn spread throughout the central Heartlands if you follow the markers given on the map above.
