Someone going by the name of Z Mods recently posted a movie on YouTube showing how they managed to make a version of Red Light, Green Light from the wildly popular show Squid Game using the Forge mode from Halo Infinite. This level editor has yet to be officially released, but this apparently hasn’t held back the enterprising modder.

“Took me a bit to work it all out and this is what I came up with,” Z Mods pointed out. “I rushed it because I didn't want to lose it all to a crash. Hope you enjoy.”

The mod remains a work in progress, but fans of Squid Game and Halo Infinite have been lapping up this latest little bit of leaked content made using the level editor. “No matter what I did, the green light wouldn't work. The object for it is there, but the light itself doesn't show up,” Z Mods remarked. “Please ignore that.” The user going by the name of RaiiN replied that “you gotta make this again and turn it into a custom game when Forge releases!”

This comes in the wake of numerous other leaked mods including a remake of the famous PT by Kojima Productions. Released for the PS4 on August 12, 2014 as a free download through the PlayStation Store, PT was designed to be an interactive teaser for an entry in the Silent Hill series. The game was removed from the PlayStation Store shortly after this was canceled, prompting a wave of criticism.

Forge currently has no firm release date. The developer behind Halo Infinite, 343 Industries, previously noted that "we’ve successfully had Forge in private flighting with a limited audience for some time, so we’ve decided to forgo a large-scale formal flighting program and go right to open beta.” The studio refers to any form of testing as “flighting.” 343 Industries added that “with this approach, we can get the core Forge tools out to everyone quicker while also remaining focused on our core priority of continuing to improve foundational aspects of Halo Infinite. Forge will persist from the open beta onwards, evolving and growing over time.”
