Lag is nothing new to online gaming, but it seems that Warzone players are growing increasingly frustrated with sky-high pings. A recent thread on Reddit showcased just how bad the problem is and how vocal players are becoming.

The video posted to Reddit shows a Warzone player landing what should have been an easy kill — the shooter remains on target for several seconds, and their opponent is completely that they're being shot at. However, even after firing dozens of rounds, the enemy's armor is the only thing that appears to be damaged. The enemy finally realizes what is going on, turns around, and gets a quick kill on our laggy combatant. The thread is titled, "That's enough warzone for today," and we'd have to agree.

This isn't an isolated case — far from it. Many other users have been taking to various forums around the web to voice their complaints, and the entire comment section on Reddit echoed that sentiment. Players are chiming in with comments such as "their servers are a…joke," and "I wanna say 90% of my bullets didn't even count."

Hopefully, Activision is aware of the issue and is working to strengthen its servers in the coming weeks. All forms of online entertainment have been under incredible strain the past few months, and that pattern will likely continue for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, we'll just have to deal with a few cheap eliminations.
