Remedy Entertainment is a very busy company these days. Just last June, Remedy announced a partnership with publisher 505 Games to produce and publish a "bigger-budget" Control title alongside a Control multiplayer spinoff. That's on top of CrossfireX's single-player campaign, an as-yet-unannounced triple-A title with Epic Games, and a free-to-play co-op shooter called Vanguard.

As for the Control games, Remedy's previous announcements didn't go into much detail, but today we're getting a tiny glimpse at what this Control multiplayer spinoff is all about.

Remedy released their half-year financial results today. It talks mostly about financial stuff, such as revenue being up 3.2% in the second quarter ending on June 30 and operating profits being up over the past six months. It also reiterated Remedy's partnership with 505 Games on some new Control titles.

Then CEO Tero Virtala chimed in with some details on that Control multiplayer spinoff, which was previously codenamed "Condor."

"Condor is a 4-player cooperative PvE (player vs. environment) game, set in the world of our award-winning Control," Virtala said, but offered nothing about the “bigger-budget Control game.” We can only assume it’ll be an even larger sequel to Control.

Virtala added that Remedy's triple-A game with Epic "has moved into full production, and a second, smaller-scale game remains in full production mode." Vanguard, the free-to-play co-op shooter, "is still progressing at a good pace, with selected internal and external closed gameplay tests."

Combine all that with CrossfireX, and Remedy has six titles in development right now, with a team of 293 employees divided amongst each project. Control remains Remedy’s biggest success story, however, with 10 million players to date (although, one suspects a lot of those came from Control’s free giveaway on Epic).
