Untitled Goose Game has become a very popular game among PC and Switch owners, having topped Nintendo's sales charts in the UK and Australia. It has become such a phenomenon among gamers that one modder has inserted the goose from Untitled Goose Game into 2019's remake of 1998's Resident Evil 2.

Untitled Goose Game is a type of stealth game that involves players taking on the role of a goose as they attempt to steal and use items from around a town, including those from town citizens, in order to reach various goals. Developed by House House and published by Panic, the game has been well-received for its charm and unique qualities. Most importantly, it has seen something of a fan following after its release.

Now, the goose from Untitled Goose Game is making an appearance in Resident Evil 2 thanks to Twitter user ALISTER. ALISTER tweeted a brief video at Untitled Goose Game publisher Panic on Twitter of the titular goose replacing Mr. X within Resident Evil 2.

For those who are unfamiliar, Mr. X is one of Resident Evil 2's multiple antagonists. Mr. X is a towering behemoth who constantly, and ominously, follows the player around Raccoon City Police Department with the sole intent of killing them. The monster can be knocked down for a brief period of time by a considerable amount of bullets or can be outrun by the player. In any regard, Mr. X is powerful and if the player gets too close, they are guaranteed a swift death.

ALISTER, however, has made Mr. X seem like far less of a threat by replacing him with the aforementioned goose. The video is very brief, but it takes place during Mr. X's entrance when he moves a helicopter to make his way toward the player. Instead of Mr. X doing so, it is a large goose who moves the helicopter with his wing to come after Claire Redfield.

The video stops just after the goose moves the helicopter, but it goes to show what the most creative modders are capable of. The thought of an angry goose going after the player to kill them is fairly intimidating, even if it isn't as intimidating as Mr. X doing so. In any case, it is worth thinking about what other mods players can use for replacing Mr. X. Thomas the Tank Engine has already been used as a replacement mod for Mr. X, so there is probably a large amount of other unthreatening beings and characters that could replace Mr. X as killing machines.
