If you’re looking for a new way to celebrate Halloween, you may want to consider picking up the new Resident Evil 3 board game, which will be coming out on October 21 of this year. The game will be available for $99.95 USD, according to publisher Steamforged Games.

The edition coming out on the 21st will be different than the Kickstarter version from 2020. Resident Evil 3: The Board game comes after the tabletop adaptation of Resident Evil 2. The board game will be based on the 1999 version of Resident Evil 3.

The game is playable with up to four people who control main characters, such as Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira. The trailer for the game describes it as a survival horror game in which the players are trapped in Racoon City and must escape. The game will be a dungeon crawler filled with monsters, and Racoon City will be “open-world.” It’s up to the player to search for necessary materials to progress, much like in the Resident Evil games. The trailer also notes that the longer you stay in the city, the higher the danger level gets, so the game becomes more difficult.

In other Resident Evil news, Resident Evil Village just got a new performance patch this last week. The update was focused on fixing an issue where certain CPUs are unable to launch the game, as well as polishing graphical processes.
